Fun day, so far someone spammed my face and someone who hadn't read my profile said they sis and tried to sell me a program I was already in to go with the business they didn't know I owned. Can you tell me the number of comments I deleted and the number of messages that started please don't tell me I read your page when you obviously haven't? Trust begins with honesty and respect. The canned message contained a lie to start the business discussion, the other was disrespectful, he was targeting random people to get in front of their traffic instead of working harder and smarter to build traffic of his own. Ethics win success, just posting this to help.

This is such a shame that he has taken a very similar sounding name to yours because it's creating confusion and (unfortunately) probably hesitation to your program (or worse, taking away potential customers) before it even really gets out of the gate. Sorry I didn't get to you sooner to say thank you for following me at Faceplate. As you might have been able to tell from my Faceplate I am a photographer and designer. Being here among so many successful marketers is a bit overwhelming and I am not sure how to go about promoting myself. Unlike most here I am promoting only one opportunity. Simply because it is the only one that I found which I believe was put together by people to help people in this unforgiving economy. I have to see something tangible before I will even begin to consider recommending it. I am not interested in the money for nothing programs that are so prevalent today. A lot of the time it ends up being your money that pays the upper echelon and like anywhere else it trickles down and you might even get some. The top of the matrix ends up getting all of the profits. Please check out this site and remember to take a look at the short video on the landing page explaining how this works, then you decide if you want to talk. It is essential to do your due diligence,I wouldn't expect anything less and knowing a good thing when you see it is the first step in that process.

I always use original products, too. If you have a 3 or 4 marketers giving away the same item, it definitely will diminish your opt-ins.

Most of the smaller events that I've seen lately are lucky to get 1500 members total, the Independence had nearly 3K this morning with more coming in, so I'm hopeful that I'll end up getting over 500 new opt-ins before its done.

JT has had several referral contests that are helping to keep people promoting. I doubt he makes any immediate money off the event, but the list he is building as the promoter will make any money he pays out in contests worthwhile in the long run.

The Independence Giveaway has been one of the better ones that I have contributed to in the past couple of years. Its kinda surprised me, as to the number of members its gotten. I've had around 100 opt-ins as of this morning, just three days in. There are just so many giveaways anymore, that its hard to find the time to do them all.

IT was indeed stressful, but it was also a lot of fun and very satisfying. I saw the whole development of the IT industry. The first 'computer' I worked on was really a glorified electric typewriter that worked with mag. stripe cardswhich held 2k of data - needed 2 of them for 1 persons payroll info! Then I went on to mainframe computers that needed huge aircon rooms. My first PC was an IBM with a 20K (yes you read that right) hard disk and a b/w screen. I spent some time working abroad during my career. My last full time IT job was back in 2001 by which time I was working on PC's and on web development. My Mum needed my care for a couple of years till she passed on in 2003 but I was already battling my own illnesses and depression. That sadly is still with me, but is helped by the friends I have made online
