Let the Games Begin...Who Is Bigger Now?
It's Official!
Monster officially acquired HotJobs from Yahoo last week, paying $225 million for the third largest U.S. job board, and setting in motion a new chapter in the race for market share with Careerbuilder. Careerbuilder is still larger in terms of traffic with 21 million monthly unique visitors vs Monster's 10 million.
But, as part of the acquisition of HotJobs, Monster negotiated a high profile sot on Yahoo's navigation bar which may even the playing field.
Should be interesting to watch this one. Clients of both Monster and Careerbuilder seem to prefer one or the other...kind of like Coke and Pepsi.

So who is bigger now? Who will be bigger a year from now? My crystal ball says it will be "..............."
