The Role Of CBSE Sample Papers For Class 9 and 10

It is the usual practice for a good number of educational institutions to make use of CBSE sample papers for Class 10 to get the students better prepared for examinations in higher classes.  The sample papers do in fact give a good peek into the actual examination experience without actually having sat for such an exam.

Making the students feel at home

More than anything, the sample papers do in fact mimic the actual exam taking experience that a public exam entails. Thus the stress on time management and more importantly to remain in a calm and collected manner is important to the success of any student.  With the CBSE sample papers for Class 10 the student body has the first taste of what a public examination looks and feels like.

With the increasing importance that is being paid to examinations, the use of sample papers is a good thing to have.  Most students that do well in the mock test do usually do well in the actual examinations as well.  Thus the educational institutions have an inside look at a graduating class before they actually sit for the public examination.

The benefit of a sample test

Since a sample test as close to the actual examination as possible, the students get to have a look at the actual layout of a CBSE sample papers for Class 9 as closely as possible.  The time pressure that is not that present in class tests are in force for any public examination.  Thus a mock exam would make any student push the limits of performance.

By repeatedly practicing on mocks tests, the students get that much better at a particular type of examinations.  This takes away the surprise factor that most competitive and public examinations seek to place the students under.  A better prepared student is capable of a good score most of the time.

The time factor

The limitations that time places in solving CBSE sample papers for Class 9 can only be experienced firsthand in a mock or sample test.  That judicial use of time does contribute immensely to success in most public examinations are drilled into the students with a mock test.  It is often a very unpredictable outcome when time constraints are applied to a group of students.  Thus the results of a mock test are as eagerly waited for by the student body as well as the teaching community.
