With the rise in prices these days there is a rapid growth in both DIY and home improvements in general, property improvement is mostly the way to go these days. There are some simple solutions to what can be done and on a budget for the most part depending on what you are wanting to implement. Taking a property and developing the asset value is the key to the whole process at the end of the day so let’s look at some of the best way’s of doing this quickly and easily.

Decoration or the Re-Vamp

One of the quickest ways to increase the value of your home is to give it that modern look and a simple makeover. Some of the best internal aesthetic systems that have the greatest effects straight off is the implementation of LED Lighting systems which are easy to put in place but are one of the most effective ideas to improving the sale-ability of your property at the end of the day.

Let’s look at the kitchen for example, You could easily pull off the “kicker boards” under the units, mark out or “space out” several holes in the middle as to insert LED lights, put a simple invert-er (which is supplied with the lights) under the kitchen units which will have the result in transforming the whole look and feel to your existing kitchen.

This is not an expensive process and will work on any kitchen without a costly re-fit of the kitchen but over more it will and can be implemented in the bathroom and even the skirting boards in the bedroom for example.

Skirting boards are hot that difficult to remove from the walls in most cases and these are easily fitted with lighting from behind (with a little bit of know how.) The wires to the power supply easily fit behind the boards and just by running the wire back to the inverter (power supply) without any real problem.

This simple move will make a stunning improvement to both the look, feel and value of your home for very little cost. There might be a cost of hiring a qualified carpenter for a day or two and some minor touching up of the paintwork afterwards but for a cost effective home improvement it is brilliant move to bring in.

As Nick at say's "sometimes even the smallest improvement to your property will vastly improve not just the look but also the feel of your place to the prospective buyer and lighting is one of the most efficient ways to do this."

The Finishing touches

The last step if needs be will be the decoration with modern looking colors adding that fresh feel to the home. When buyers will come to look at your property they will want to experience the “homely comfortable” feeling that makes that sale at the end of the day.
