Humanity be careful

Dec 3rd 2010 at 9:49 PM

Water is the most neglected natural product in the world.

Some people clean their driveway every week using only their hose.

A friend of mine brings bottled water when she comes to visit.

A fifth of Earth's population doesn't have access to drinkable water.

Plastic is already overused, water should never be manufactured and sold.

A lot of work is still necessary to elevate consciousness.

Humanity never learns from past lessons. Or when it does, it's painfully slow.

I'd like to compare the consciousness of environment vs the development of technology.

The latter is watching the bobsleigh speed along the track in the Olympics.

The former is watching paint dry.

At least, if I was exaggerating. :(

You know, and I know, that it's the truth.

Right now, in the rich countries, we care more about our comfort than about the poor countries' life conditions.

You don't have to look too far to see the proof of that.

How much money did the world governments give to Haiti ?

Peanuts compared to the astronomical amounts we read about every day in the newspapers to "save the world economy" 2 years ago.

Ok, ok, I know, we're humans, we can't change our habits all at once.

IMHO, the first habit we have to change is the way we drink and use water.

Think about it.

Stop eating. You'll survive for a few weeks.

Stop drinking water, you'll be dead in a few days.

Enough said. Click on the link.

Phillipe and Cathy, please read Exodus 15:22-27. Incredibly consciousness elevating. Read it slowly and with great concentration. I will point to two VERY important words in it: one is Marah, which in Hebrew means bitterness; the second is tree. What the Lord says concerning His commands and the plagues of Egypt are of the UTMOST importance. >> Now if you finish ch. 15 and read ch. 16, you will notice something quite striking.>> One last thing I want to point out is why Moses was not allowed to enter the Promised Land. It was because he struck a rock out of anger to draw out water. He had previously been permitted by the Lord to draw water from rock, but when he did so in anger, the Lord had not given him the okay. Now Joshua (the same name in Hebrew as Yeshua, which is the name we call Jesus) led the Israelites into Canaan.>>Please meditate on these verses and this idea. Shalom [+]

Kind of ironic I had a conversation with a gentleman about this very subject today at work. He is stocking up on water and food supplies and repeated your sentiment that water is our most valuable resource. Nice Work.
