Using PLR Articles For Your Blog

Oct 14th 2010 at 4:25 AM

If you have read my blog posts you will have noticed I do not shy away from controversy and that I am more than willing to bring to your attention practices that I find the online predators using to steal your money.

There are and always will be predators online as well as people who have their heart in the right place.  What saddens me more than anything is to see people who have built huge numbers of followers step across the line and start using techniques I find questionable.

A perfect example of that is an email I got earlier from a guy who started his online career roughly five years ago.  I can remember when he had his heart in the right place, but what he just sent me shows me that he no longer cares about the people on his opt-in list and only cares about his own wallet.

Look, using PLR articles is an outstanding way for people who have difficulty writing, but to give away 900 articles that were written in 2005 while trying to sell an additional 135,000 PLR articles crosses the line in my opinion.

Think about what the Internet looked like five years ago as compared to today.  MySpace was only two years old Facebook and You Tube were just getting started and Twitter was still years away from launching.  Yahoo search was either still called Overture or was just switching over.

The information in these 900 articles is so outdated it is like comparing a car built in the 1950s with something sitting on the showroom floor today.  Sure anyone can rewrite the articles and stick their name on them, but how many people in our GLOBAL market would know to do that?

Here is my point, read over the PLR articles or PLR books for that matter and ensure you are not putting your name on something that is outdated and useless in today's online marketplace.  Also, when a new “guru” sends you absolute crap get your name off their opt-in list as quickly as possible.

Great post from a voice of experience. I don't get why people try to rush and short step and damage their reputation online. Thanks for posting the PLR facts..
