ALL members please read this important update
Thanks for taking a few minutes from your busy day to read this important update.
The basis for this update is to bring a few important items to the forefront and help members get a better understanding of certain aspects of IM faceplate that they may have missed.
To make this update easy to navigate, we will list each item in point form style. We recognize that every point won't be "news" to every member, but hopefully everyone will find some benefit in reading this update.
RED ICONS IN TOP RIGHT CORNER
When you log into your account, you will see 3 little icons in the top right corner. These icons are quick links to your followers, your groups, and your conversations.
If you see a little red box with a number in it, then this means you have new activity in this area. Please click on the icon to see the new activity and clear the number. This will help you keep on top of things more easily.
BLUE BUBBLES UNDER "WHAT'S NEW?"
These are notices telling you things that have happened since you last clicked on the notice.
The best way to manage this is to actually click on these notices when you first login. This will allow you to keep up with things more efficiently and also will keep these notices current. If you never click on them, then they will just continue to build up at which point they become quite useless.
NAVIGATING THE MENUS
Understanding the navigation of IM faceplate is critical to your use of the site and will help you get the most from your time here.
There are 3 main tabs across the top of the page, but please also note that each main tab has several topics in the submenu just below. Our records indicate that there are several members that have yet to even check out some of these areas ... so if you are one of them, then please take some time to look around the site.
The more you immerse yourself into all the areas of IM faceplate, the more success you will have.
ARTICLES
Did you know that IM faceplate is an incredible place for you to publish your articles?
Google, Yahoo, and Bing are all absolutely loving IM faceplate right now! And this means a HUGE opportunity for exposure to YOUR articles.
Did you know that IM faceplate members have already published more than 10,000 articles! This is an incredible accomplishment and the more quality articles that members publish, the more "love" IM faceplate will get from the search engines.
VIDEOS
Have you added any video spotlights to your faceplate?
If you haven't yet added any videos, you might want to consider it. Members that have video spotlights are getting tremendous exposure ever since we added the new video spotlight section.
Have you seen the video spotlight section of the site?
To get there, just go to the COMMUNITY tab and then choose the SPOTLIGHTS section from the sub menu. There are lots of great videos there for you to watch and comment on ... so go check it out today :)
GROUPS
The value of contributing in the discussion groups cannot be stated enough. If you have yet to post in the groups, we want to encourage you to get in there and share your thoughts and feedback.
One thing we can say with absolutely certainty is that the members of IM faceplate are truly amazing and this shines through in the groups. There is so much helpful content being shared by so many great members, that this section of the site should really be a part of your daily routine.
The groups are also where we get a lot of ideas for new additions to IM faceplate. So, if you have some ideas on how to make IM faceplate even better, then we encourage you to get involved and share those ideas with everyone.
ADZLY
Everyone has adzly widgets on their faceplate (except for PRO members that have turned them off), but not everyone has signed up for a F.REE adzly account yet.
So, if you have been dragging your feet, then now is the time to get your adzly account so you can benefit from all those ads that are on your faceplate.
To sign up, just go to your faceplate editor, then click on the ADS tab (left menu) and follow the link on that page. It takes about 40 seconds to do :)

I Deeply Appreciate everything done to increase and improve our IM faceplate community! Really and Sincerely I do!
With that said, knowing that I'm Not the Only one facing issues from time-to-time. After, three attempts, I've Not Successfully been Able to incorporate my Targeted Video from YouTube.com into my IM faceplate Spotlight sector.
I Need Help to Remedy this Issue.
