  • Organic SEO BEFORE Link Building For Higher Google Search Engine Results

        I just can't even stress it enough... You really should have all your Meta Tags in place BEFORE link building. Why? Well, most link building strategies include some form of SEO 'keyword' implementation right? You might as well have your content/keyword rich website or blog already set up to be recognized for the 'keywords' you have chosen to target through commenting and backlinking.

        My blog for instance has undergone some major design changes and with that, SEO changes in my Meta Tags were also made. It has only been about 2 months since I really started to pay more attention to my blog and try to get it ranked higher on Google.  With natural Search Engine Optimization and a small amount of link building, I hold #2 on Google SERP's for most of my keywords... And I am by no means an 'expert' in html or SEO; novice at most.

        Tonight I decided to run my keywords through Google search (which I haven't done in weeks) and have found out that the small changes I have made have taken me from page 35 straight to the first page. Why pay for an SEO company to do something so simple when a 'beginner' can achieve nearly the same results? Unless you really don't like being involved in all aspects of your website.
        Most people see SEO as this uber-complicated "magic" that only the pros can pull off. So not true... All I can really suggest is
    1.  Set up your Meta Tags (ask me nicely to help and I will)
    2.  Post your content/keyword rich articles based on your meta tags
    3.  Submit your website to the search engines
    4.  Start your commenting/backlinking campaign
    5.  Start your Web 2.0 (Social Networking) campaign
    6.  Continue to post at least twice a week (I have posted less than that and have ranked well)
    7.  Start enjoying free Organic traffic from Google ; )
        This can all be achieved in a fairly short time and it is completely natural... something Google's Caffeine algorithm loves to see.
        Avoid being Google 'Slapped' for submitting to 350,000+ search engines. Google favors loyalty. After all, Google is responsible for 60% of ALL internet search results so why get "over-indexed"? It will only hurt you in the long-run. Stick to the top 5 search engines and your results will will be better plain and simple.

  • Yahoo And Bing Search Results Tying The Knot

        If you have been indexed on Yahoo and NOT on Bing, chances are your Yahoo traffic will likely decrease.  Lately, Yahoo has been displaying Bing results on their search engine results page and will be completely changing over to Microsoft's Bing Search Engine in the near future.


        In June 2010, Yahoo And Bing had a combined 5.4 billion search queries; 3.2 billion from Yahoo and 2.2 billion from Bing in one month. 

        Right now you are asking yourself, "What can I do to take advantage of these changes?" The answer is quite simple. You need to optimize your site for Bing results and get indexed on Bing as soon as possible. Optimizing your website for Bing is very similar to optimizing for Google. It will be based on quality inbound links and relevancy of title, keywords and descriptions. 


        If you want to find yourself in the Top 10 results for Bing, it will require you to optimize individual pages for a single "key-phrase" and sticking to the one topic on that specific page. The more targeted your page is, the more likely you will appear on the fist page of both Bing and Yahoo search results. 

        You will need to do a bit of research and decide which of your pages you will have optimized for Bing and which for ones for Google. By doing so, you will be creating the mold for your golden key to massive Bing traffic. We all know Google generates results for about 60% of ALL internet search queries which only leaves about 40% remaining.

        Yahoo and Bing combined take up about 31% of that remainder, and again, Yahoo will soon drop it's own results and rely solely on Bing's results. This is the reason why you have to get this taken care of so not only you don't lose A LOT of your Yahoo traffic, but you gain more traffic by being indexed and ranked well by Bing.

        Once you submit your website(s), you should start figuring out which pages you will optimize especially for Bing and get to it before the complete transfer of search results takes place.

  • Affiliate Marketing Secrets

    One of the easiest and fastest way to make money online in through affiliate marketing. This is when you send visitors to someone else's product sales page, they make the sale and deliver the product, and you get a percentage of the sale price as you commission (usually 50% or more for digital products).

    The benefits of this are

    1. You can get started almost immediately because you don't have to create a product, write the sales page, design the website, develop marketing materials, or set up the ordering, billing & delivery system.
    2. You have almost no investment of time because you don't have to do the customer support or deal with billing or technical issues.
    3. You have nearly zero risk because you already know the product sells. So if you send visitors you will get paid.
    Looking at these benefits, it's clear that affiliate marketing is the way to go!

    The downside is...

    After all your hard work of generating traffic to the sales page, you will never see any of those visitors again. Most of them will not buy on their first visit, which means you're losing over 90% of the traffic right off the top. And of the 10% or less that do buy, the product owner will be able to sell to them again, but you will not.

    The video squeeze page is where you'll direct your traffic instead of directly to the product sales page. It captures the name and email of your visitors and puts them into your autoresponder, which then begins sending out the 5-part email series. Then it redirects them to your pre-selling pages after they subscribe to your email series. All of this together increases your chances of making the sale by up to 500% so it's well worth the effort of setting it up. And once it's set up, it runs automatically - you just keep sending visitors to the squeeze page. If you don't have the time or expertise to set it all up yourself, you can use something like Affiliate Silver Bullet. Services like this design the enter system (the video, the video squeeze page, the email series, the content pages, etc). The benefit is that it's much less expensive and you could do it yourself, and it's instantly set up. The downside is that other people will be using the same affiliate tools as you. But the internet is pretty big, so this isn't much of a concern. The other route you can take is to hire people on Elance to create and implement the various aspects for you.
