God Is Real - The Ultimate New Proof of God from Science and Religion
  • Life after death

There are innumerable recorded and researched cases of people, who have had past life experiences. This fact clearly points to life after death. Man has had an eternal faith that a world beyond the grave exists and there is life after death. This sentiment is unshakeable, and has been cherished since the times when man started to think. Death cannot be considered as the final thing if we say that the soul is immortal. Death is actually an entrance to a new world, a new life - a life after death.

Modern science, with its limitations, many a times falters in explaining such phenomena. But surprisingly, an increasing number of neurosurgeons and scientists are accepting that research needs to be done over the topic of life after death.

    Near death experiences (NDEs)
Near death experiences can be considered as clinical evidences of life after death. Experiences like being out of and floating above the body, light at the end of the tunnel, a glowing light, seeing angelic guides etc. have been common among those experiencing this phenomenon. NDEs signify that as people approach death many sense that it is not the end of their existence but in fact the beginning of another, much beautiful journey.

Let us look at some such experiences. In November 2008, Eben, who had always been fit, woke up one morning with severe back pain, which got too serious in minutes and was later diagnosed as a very rare kind of meningitis. He had a seizure and went into coma. He says he had no memory of anything or awareness of his existence. He remembered seeing a beautiful girl by his side, who reassured him of love and being loved. He saw golden lights and heard beautiful music. And then he entered a black but comforting void and had left the universe behind. But he was then asked to go back. And after seven days he came out of coma. He tried to explain the life after deathexperience but no one understood. They were just stunned by his recovery.

Anita Moorjani was detected of lymphatic cancer in the final stage. It was declared that she had just a few hours to live. All her organs had failed and she went into coma. Then she felt herself leave her own body. She experienced an amazing lightness. She wanted to be there forever but met her father and friend, both of whom had passed away, who asked her to return, saying that her work on earth was not over. Unwillingly, but knowing that she would be healed, she returned. In four weeks, her tumours reduced by 70%, and in a few weeks, there was no sign of cancer. Her doctors were unable to explain this.

Does Islam, too, speak of life after death?
Islam teaches that a human being not only has a body, but also has a 'spirit' or 'soul'. Just as the body has developed from a small seed or zygote, the spirit too is a seed from which another; higher form of life appears from within us, a form higher than physical life. During life, a person's spirit is given a shape through his deeds, for better or worse. When the person dies, his physical existance is    but his spirit remains, as he or she had moulded it by their deeds when alive. Existence of spirit even after death is the actual life after death.

    Practical Benefits

Belief in life after death works as a source of personal security, optimism, and spiritual betterment. Nothing offers more courage than the confidence that there is a better life after death for those who use the present for the betterment of others. Belief in the unlimited opportunities of eternity has enabled many to make sacrifices for the happiness of other beings.
  • Stories in the Bible is True!
    Bible is True
The Bible is one of the world’s oldest religious books and it is emerging that all the stories given in the Bible is true. Although, all of the stories in the book are not related to history, the tales of Jesus are full of life changing facts that can guide people to a deeper perceptiveness of God and His message. The stories given in the Bible interpret truth. But that does not necessarily signify that whatever is written in the story will actually happen in the future.  Most of it is not prophetic.

One may wonder how anyone can so confidently say that some Bible interpretations are absolutely true? This is through a faithful conviction that the Bible is a holy book written by a pure soul directed by God’s Holy Spirit.

Many Christian priests now a day’s do not preach all the sayings in the Holy Bible because they find them difficult to understand and defend. But it is important to study scholarly Bible interpretations and faithfully believe the holy Bible is true.

Now the question is, how can one study and comprehend the message of the Bible? There are a few simple things one can do to understand Bible interpretations.
    Bible Interpretations

The easiest rule to understand Bible interpretations is to pray to God and ask him for the wisdom and intellect to do so. Another simple rule to comprehend the Bible is to let the Bible to interpret itself. That is, when you stumble upon a word or concept that is seems unclear, then make use of the rest of the Bible to understand it.  If you meet that word somewhere else in the Bible, study it to make out what it exactly means.

A number of the most serious caveats are in the Bible’s prophecies. One requires caution regarding these.  One should read the Bible very carefully, and by bringing into play this devout  as well as studious effort one will begin to comprehend what some of the signs and codes are about. The more you will read, the more you will grasp.

If you would like to learn more about Bible interpretations, I would encourage you to read God Is Real – The Stunning New Convergence of Science and Spirituality.  It concentrates on all of the major subjects of Bible in a brief and reader friendly approach.  It's even constructive to those who wish to commence their voyage of understanding Bible prophecy, particularly in connection with Genesis.
  • Yoga is Aimed to Unite the Body, Mind and the Spirit

Owing to the current lifestyle of man, physical labor has taken a backseat and mental pressure has profoundly increased for even young kids. We live in a world where standard of living has increased to such an extent that all one needs to do is to press a button to complete a task. In the present scenario, the long lost ancient practice of yoga has come up as a life savior for many. Yoga is aimed to unite the body, mind and the spirit. Thus, it trains the body physically, mentally as well as spiritually to clean itself. Yoga makes the body fit and flexible and helps the practitioner to relax even in a stressful environment.

In earlier days it was believed that the ultimate purpose of yoga is to achieve salvation. But today’s scientific world propounds that long term yoga practitioners have shown improvement in musculoskeletal and mental health. It has also been stated that regular yoga practice has reportedly decreased symptoms of asthma and has increased brain’s GABA level thereby improving mood and reducing anxiety.

Now-a-days yoga is being used not only for treating cardiac problems but also for the reducing insomnia, depression, pain, and fatigue among cancer patients. Yoga has also found its usefulness in curing arthritis, schizophrenia, lower back pain, digestive problems, cardiovascular as wells as endocrine diseases.

Hatha yoga, which is sometimes referred to as the ‘psychophysical yoga’ has proven very beneficial for heart disease. Studies of the effects of this yogic posture on heart disease suggest that yoga may improve symptoms of heart failure, reduce high blood pressure, lower cardiovascular risk factors and enhance cardiac rehabilitation. Hatha yoga creates a balance between mind and body by controlling the breathing process, practicing purification methods, maintaining a definite physical posture and calming the mind through relaxation and meditation. This yogic asana teaches poise, strength and balance and is practiced to improve the body's physical health and clear the mind.

Power Yoga has become very popular among the current generation. This Power Yoga is an extension of AshtangaYoga also known as Vinyasa Yoga. It emphasizes on developing individual's physical flexibility and fosters the desire for self-discipline. Power Yogais one of forms of Yoga, which leads to a laborious full-body workout while practicing mental stability and concentration.

Power Yoga aims at improving concentration, increasing flexibility and building and toning the muscles. The workout experience of Power Yoga is very intense as it utilizes the entire body. It requires holding a series of poses and the practitioner has to use the muscles of her/his arms, shoulders, abdomen, back feet, and legs which results in toning and strengthening of the muscles.  It also burns a lot of calories thereby facilitating the practitioners’ weight loss. As the workout in this form of Yoga requires rigorous moves, toxins are also excreted from the body through sweat. The most importantbenefit of Power Yoga is that it boosts the immune system of the practitioners there by making them more healthy and attuned with their body.
  • God Keeps The Question Of His Existence Squarely Before Us
    Proof of God

The existence of God is one of the oldest and most debated topics in the history of human civilization. Since the advent of life, philosophers, scientists and theologians have proposed arguments to support and disown the presence of God.

Since God has not been defined as an entity in the universe or as a mathematical unit, presenting proof or arguments that are relevant to God's existence is puzzling. As of today, there is no conclusive scientific proof of the existence, or absence, of God implies that this is not a scientific problem.

    So, does God exist?

The intricacy of our planet points to a thoughtful design that not only created the universe but modeled in a way to sustain it as well. Earth is the only known planet equipped with an atmosphere of the right mixture of gases to sustain life.

There is a defined expanse of space between the Sun and the Earth. Any further, and we would all freeze. On the other hand, if we had been closer to the Sun, we would have been burnt to ashes. A perfectly synchronized Earth rotating on its axis, allowing the entire surface of to be periodically warmed and cooled every day is a revelation. On hindsight, it appears to be Proof of God controlling the temperature unit.

Scientifically no living thing can survive without water. The major part of plants, animals and human beings consist of water (two-thirds of the human body is filled with water). Water preserves us in an environment of fluctuating temperature changes, however keeping our bodies at a constant temperature. The property of water as a solvent transports various chemicals, minerals and nutrients throughout our bodies and into the smallest blood vessels. Ideally 97% of the Earth's water is in our oceans. But the water cycle ensures a system of purification and supply that sustains life on this planet. The presence of water and its properties is a mystery, but clearly well-defined by an external force.

Scientists are committed to the fact that our universe began with one enormous explosion of energy and light, termed as the Big Bang. A singular start to everything that existed: the universe, space and time. But, the universe has not always existed. And this initiation could be further proof of the existence of God.

There is no logical requirement for a universe that follows rules, leave alone one that abides by the rules of mathematics. The universe doesn't necessarily have to behave this way. It could be a possibility to have a universe where conditions change unpredictably from instant to instant or things pop in and out of existence.

In every cell of our bodies there exists a very detailed instruction code similar to a computer program. The DNA code in each of our cells is a detail-oriented code that is made up of four chemicals arranged uniformly with the intent of driving the innumerous processes in our body.
Similar to programming a gadget for specific purposes, the DNA instructs the cell. And the intricacies involved in design and implementation of the DNA can only provide further evidence of a superior being involved, proof of God.

The reason that the topic of God weighs so heavily on our mind is because God is pressing the issue. He created us with the intention that we would know him and has surrounded us with evidence of him and keeps the question of his existence squarely before us.

To answer the questions, does God exist? Some higher force does exist that does not force us to believe in it, though it could. Perhaps, we have been provided with sufficient proof of existence for us to believe in God.

  • Is There A Scientific Proof To Validate The Claims About Life After Death Of The Holy Scriptures
    Life After Death

Is it true or is it just for consoling the mourning relatives of the departed? There had been many discussions about life after death. The mystery about the dark tunnel and the blinding light still persists. Although, nearly every religion talks about karma, salvation, life after death & resurrection. But is there a scientific proof to validate the claims of the Holy Scriptures.

But another question which arises here is that is it justified to just disregard the concept of life after death brought forth by the sacred scriptures only because we still are clueless about it? Is it not like arguing against the existence of God on the grounds that ‘I have not found him in my test tube’? The scientific method is an incredibly powerful tool, but like any other tool, it too has its limitations.

We observe the physical manifestations of consciousness to cease when the body dies. We don’t observe the spirit to cease to exist because we do not observe the spirit at all. Spirit can be considered as a form of energy. Thus life after death can be analyzed under the light of principle of conservation of energy, which states that ‘Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be transformed’. The immortality of the soul can said to have spiritual equivalence to the theory.

Quran states that this worldly life is a preparation for the eternal life after death. Bhagvat Gita talks extensively about afterlife. Buddhism also maintains that rebirth takes place without an unchanging self or soul passing from one form to another. Sikhs also believe in reincarnation. Christianity too vouches for life after death and so do Wicca, Zoroastrianism and Judaism.

    Life After Death

All these religions came into existence at different point of time. But each of them, in one way or the other upheld the theory of life after death, judgment day, heaven and hell. The belief in life after death not only guarantees success in hereafter but also makes this world peaceful and happy by making individuals more responsible and dutiful in their activities.

So, could it possibly be the reason for all the religions vouching for it? One cannot say this for sure. But this idea, even if it is a creation of human mind, could prove to be very helpful in making world a better place to live. If a person has firm belief in eternal life, heaven and hell then she/he wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize her/his future thereby making this world a peaceful place.

  • Is there a Life After Death?

What exactly happens to us after we die? Almost all of us have been challenged by this question. The existence of Life After Death is a universal question made by mankind. Do we simply exist? Do all go to the same place or to different places? Is there really a heaven and a hell? Accordingly to the Bible, Jesus took the punishment that all of us deserve and sacrificed his own life. Three days later, he was victorious over death by rising from the grave and he remained on the earth for forty days and was seen by thousands of people before ascending to heaven.

     Life After Death

The rebirth of Christ is the cornerstone of the Christian faith and is the ultimate proof of life after death and we can have faith that we will also be resurrected. Although eventually all will be re-birthed, not everyone will go to heaven. It is a reality that all die once, those who have kept faith in God will go to eternal life in heaven, but those who reject God are subject to endless rebirths.  In all the recorded cases of apparent rebirth, it was found that there was a flexible time lag between the death of the person and his or her rebirth on Earth. Many recorded and researched cases of past life experiences clearly point to Life After Death. So, where do we go after death till our rebirth on Earth? And what are the factors that decide where we go after death? One scientist has a theory which may prove that each person does have a soul that survives even after your heart stops beating.
