Well, as for saying which one is the best TE, I would have to say StartXchange for a manual surf. As for the best auto TE, well I do own my own so.. ;)

Choosing between the two can come down to a simple question, To be seen or not to be seen? For example, if you have some product you want to sell, using an auto TE is probably not your best choice. Very few actually sit and watch in an auto TE aside from those who like to click the bonus links that most have. If you are just interested in boosting your traffic rank then no doubt auto is the way to go.

I care. I co-own Sweeva and it's a blatant rip off our what we started.

But alas, it's the traffic exchange industry and getting unique ideas here is very rare.

Well if Surfvo is a rip off to Sweeva, then any other TE that was created under a new name is a rip off to the very first TE created. And so far SurfVo isn't 100% similar to Sweeva as both have their strong points.

TE's has been around for a while and just because someone puts an idea out doesn't mean that they was the only ones to think of the idea. I know some people who had great ideas that you would be shock existed but didn't have the courage or even funds to brand it.

But what the heck, any smart marketer will take advantage of both.

They copied our terms and faq almost verbatim LOL But this is the traffic exchange industry so they get a pass....

Only in the traffic exchanges can web sites do this and then be patted on the back.

I haven't looked at SurfVo yet, but I may have to now, to see what all the fuss is about.

It's inevitable in the TE world that people will try to copy anything that's a success. They think it's a way to get a bit of that success. Unfortunately, sites that are copies are usually poor imitations of the original.

But like I said, I haven't looked at SurfVo yet, so I don't know if that applies here. What I do know, Jon and Tim, is that the idea behind Sweeva is a very special one, and it's inevitable people would try to copy it. I've already said, I wish I'd thought of it first :-)

Oh yeah, I knew the idea would be copied. Heck, I'm surprised it wasn't sooner. That's not what I'm upset about...

It's the copying of the layout (front page) , it's the rip off of our Terms, it's the members upgrade page....I mean if you are going to rip it off, at least try to hide the rip off a bit LOL

But you are right Louise. I'll take it as a compliment and shut my trap =) LOL
