I want to state the obvious. Why? because as cute as we are we can still get caught.
READ THE SMALL PRINT!!!!! Isn't that obvious.
I'm saying that because I have JUST GOT CAUGHT. I fell for a free offer that required postage only for a special TEETH WHITENING product. I entered my credit card details and when the receipt page came up (I've paid by now) I spotted a little more obvious statement that if I did not cancel within ten days I would be billed every 30 days $84 for the order I had placed. It said to email or telephone to cancel. There was no email address anywhere on the website and the telephone number for my country proved to be out of service. The only way out of this was to get my credit card cancelled and wait several days for a new one. As I neither want to show the link nor am I allowed to I will say google "Bright White Scam" and be warned not to do the same as me.

Thanks so much for the warning. People have to beware of all things that have a free trail. It is always very hard to get it canceled in the time limit they give. And most don't see the fine print saying you must cancel.

This is true and people just have to be aware that there are a lot of scams on the internet. If not then it will cost you big time.

It's the lure of easy money, that's how they bait you in.

That's there tactic and you just have to read every thing on these kind of websites. Just because it looks good, doesn't mean it's true.

How does the saying go, if it walk like a duck and act like a duck, it is a ducks. Get away as fast as you can.

Very true. Everyone should read this and follow the advice here. "Nothing is free." That's the first thing I think when I come across a site that has 'free' splattered everywhere. And always read the fine print.

Also, thoroughly read any aggreements/terms of service if possible. I know they're long, but there will likely be something in there you'll need to know about.

I purchased an article submitter. After one year they asked me to pay again whereas no such condition was put before purchase. Now they are asking me to provide licence number etc.

You should always read the TOS. AND THINK. When something sounds to good to be true, it usually is. Do your math. Earning models always show the best possible outcome. Find 3, who find 3, etc.
It does not happen. Only the ones at the top earn good money.
Find a legitimate business with a real service or product. Stay informed. If you have doubts Google a program: program+scam

If you paid by credit card you can stop any further payments by applying to your bank or credit card company.. and you may also get a refund by going through the same channels .. as long as you have kept some sort of documentation that you dealt with the site... if you cant find them... do a google search.. a bit tedious but Im sure they will turn up sooner or later... I got stung too. it was for a IT product and received nothing and I contacted my bank and they initiated a trace on the charge [small fee!] and I was not charged and then a stop was put on any further payments.. though there was not supposed to be any! But the thing is I always keep a record UNTIL i receive the product and for a few months after in case of dispute...
