I highly recommend Digital Photography to anyone needing to find peace in their day. The special moments captured and the beauty of being out in Nature.

Photography is a hobby I found late in life, but I am making up for lost time, I seldom leave the house without my camera, lol, yes it is a little overboard I agree, but I cherish every photo I can capture that I will be able to share my love of Photography. Thank you for letting me share this, Kathy

Digital photography has got a whole new meaning by reducing input costs on films and taking the hobby to a wider audience. More creativity has come out and more tech advances are happening

I also have an interest in digital photography. I brought a dslr late last year and have been learning more about its advanced technique since. Signing up to flickr enabled me to met alot of other photographers, many of them very talented and inspiring. I learnt about the 365 project which is when someone takes a photo everyday for a year and uploaded it to a group so that they can track their project and remember what they really got up to. I have loved photography since I was a little girl because it was a way of capturing moments that I couldn't remember happening, and they were often significant or fun moments of people I knew lifes.

I have been a keen photographer since I was a child..., and that was a long time ago. I bought my first Nikon SLR camera in 1976 before that I had 120 cameras. I have a cupboard full of 35mm Nikon cameras and lenses, some of which I still use occasionally. (only the top of the range digital cameras come anywhere near the quality, and silver halide prints far outlast digital prints printed with ink). But a big advantage of digital is the low cost of taking photographs. You can take hundreds of any one subject and just delete the ones you don't want. With chemistry photography you have to be more selective.
I purchased my first digital Nikon in 2003 a D70 and upgraded as recently as yesterday with a Nikon D7000 and an AF-S 70-300 lens..., just left a few dollars change out of $3,000.00 Boys and their toys.. Eh!

I enjoy digital photography as well. I particularly like nature and outdoor photography. It can be a peaceful time, or exciting moment depending on the changing elements in the scenery. I enjoy capturing things in nature, I'm not the artist, but the one that appreciates as it's conveyed by the creator who paints these wonderful things.

Started my interest in photography in junior high school. Beginning with b&w and got to experienced the wonders of seeing my photos come to life in the darkroom. I still have a fondness of b&w as it's a wonderful medium to capture the essence of a subject, such as in street photography or Ansel Adams work.

I love digital photography as well. My current camera is a Kodak Z981. Nothing fancy, it works for me. I like the texture of things in the garden and nature. I like getting up close. I have flower gardens all around our property so the canvas is ever changing. When it's not so hot outside I go out in the morning before work and afternoon each day. I always see something different. I love the change of seasons in the garden.

Kimberly, very nice. Yes, it's not so much the camera we use. But the photographer and our finding that unique perspective. I like getting up and close, finding new textures or capturing simple contrasting colors. Love morning or evening photo shoots.

Enjoy your garden and peaceful times during your photo shoots.

I've since moved to Ohio (coming from California) and it's a beautiful place here. The weather is very unpredictable and very cold at times. I don't get out with my camera as much. :(

I like taking my trusty tripod at times. In my opinion you have more control on sharpness and depth of field.

Hopefully the weather will break and will see more sunshine soon!

      Happy Shooting!

I'd like to carry with me most of the time. Nowadays cell phones have built-in cameras. Which cell phone in your opinion makes the most versatile camera? e.g. Best manual control of exposure in difficult lighting situations.
