Well from my personal experience, it has helped me a great deal. I have made a lot of friends and I have learned a lot too.
I am currently working from home in my business (full time), and enjoying every minute. I have the freedom to do what I want, when I want. There are some people that will only talk to you just so you will join their business. It will work TEMPORARILY, but it won't last. Why? Because they only want people to join them so they can make money off of them. It's called having an agenda, a money agenda. Everyone here wants to make money, but until you get rid of that money agenda, people will turn away from you, and you will be all alone, and not making any money. This is a fact! So I want to know how has social networking helped your business, and if it's anything you want to share, please do. I look forward to talking with all who comment here.

The social media, in general, has been phenomenal. Once you begin to understand how it works, it's one of the easiest and efficient ways to build your list, your business and your bank account.
It's been so good to me, in fact, that I just wrote a book about it... lol. Cheers! Rex

It's a very good book Rex, and I commend you for your effort in writing it. You spoke the truth and I can tell that you put your heart and soul into it. You really want to help people and give value.
And you tell the truth. But here's the key, these three words says it all: Know, Like and Trust!!! On that note, I highly recommend that you contact Rex and get a hold of his new book. He is kind enough to give it away but then this is who Rex is. He just keeps giving and giving. LOL to you Rex.

Hello, Terri: Social Networking sites have been helping me build my presence online and draw traffic to my websites. I can't say it has produced a lot of sales, but it's no worse than any other methods of marketing that I have been doing. Like you said, Social Networking has helped me make some great new marketing friends and has provided me with great marketing info and insight. I think Social Networking is helping me to develop my interpersonal skills, preparing me to be a better communicator when I DO follow up with prospects and customers. GT :-)

I missed this convo. I"m glad it popped up in my timeline Terri.
Let me go on record as being in agreement on all points here. The agenda has got to go. Focus on the people and the money will inevitably follow. I have not read Rex's newest book, but I did read the one on twitter the other day. I have to second the sentiment that Rex is a giver, as is Terri. You guys ROCK!

I want to recommend a book to you all. The name is "The Go Giver" by Bob Burg and John David Mann. This is a great book to read and I really enjoyed it. It has some great information in it.
