“You cannot control what happens to you! but you can control your attitude towards what happens to you! with that skill, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you.” - Brian Tracy

"There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative."

– W. Clement Stone

When we gain control over your mental forces (our thoughts/attitudes), we will be able to master our outer life instead of being a slave to it. When we are able to focus our thoughts we will find that problems that were insurmountable an hour ago are simply challenges that will need a little work to overcome. As in all things we will have to practice controlling our thoughts to gain skill. Nobody on this planet has ever won a Decathlon on their first try, so it is with this skill of thought control. We must discover how to calm our minds, control fleeting thoughts, earn the concentration ability to think and solve one thought at a time. I am not saying it will be easy, but with practice, practice and more practice we can all succeed in making it second nature to us.

@Fred you have to program your mind with positive thoughts that you want in your mind and the only way to do that is by using Autosuggestion.

The people you love, and who love you, are the real measure of how well you are doing as a human being.

Hey, Greg, that is so true. The attitude we project towards those we love is so vitally important, and yet, how many of us lose sight of this and fail to treat our loved ones with the attention and respect they deserve? We need a 'wake-up' call every now and then, a reminder, and hopefully when we get it, we respond in the right way.

"Your attitude determines your altitude."

Life has a different perspective when you can view it from a higher place. So go farther than you have ever gone before.

It only requires a right attitude corresponding with the right actions.
