  • Autosurf Traffic Exchange Essentials ~ Tips For Getting The Most Out Of Autosurfing
    Updation, Finally! I am seriously starting to consider myself the world's worst blogger. Months between posts, but I hope the information I am sharing helps some folks realize the power and potential of autosurf traffic exchanges.

    Today I am sharing tips for making the most out of your memberships at autosurf programs. My inspiration for sharing this information comes from a trend I have noticed in my own accounts at autosurfs such as SmileyTraffic.com. What I have noticed in the last couple of weeks is that 90% of the new members I refer to certain autosurf programs (the ones that require some surfing in order to fully activate a new account) do not bother to activate or utilize their accounts once they sign up. Essentially, they are wasting the site admin's time by creating accounts that will never be used, not to mention the new member's own time, since they take the time to sign up but don't follow through with activating their account.

    I am human, and I totally understand the impulse to sign up for every awesome sounding program on the internet. I guess it goes without saying that I sometimes do this myself. However, most of the time, if I take the time to signup for a site, you can bet your buns that I will at least check my email and click on whatever activation link is sent. Oh well, c'est la vie, I suppose. Now, let me get to the point of this post before I continue this diatribe!

    Tips For Getting The Most Out Of Autosurf Traffic Exchange Programs


    1) Use a real email address to join autosurf programs.
    I'm not saying you should use your primary email address for signing up, but for goodness sake, at least use an email address that is not fake and that you can access. Nearly every autosurf program uses a double opt-in process for new memberships. This means you opt-in once by signing up to be a member of the site, then you opt-in a second time by clicking the activation link in the welcome email the autosurf program sends to the email address you registered with the site.

    Another reason to use a real email address is because autosurf site admins often send newsletter emails to their members that offer program news, bonus credits and/or special credit/membership deals. If you use a fake email address, your account will most likely go unvalidated and you will miss out on special offers. Most autosurf program admins do not share your email address or other personal information with third parties; make sure you check the site's Privacy Policy if you are concerned. (This is our privacy policy, for example purposes, from HyperSpeedHits.com, which is an autosurf program owned by Edenday.org.)

    2) If you sign up, make sure you are dedicated to participating.
    Autosurfs have come a long ways since the early 2000s. In the old days, admins didn't have a way of discerning the active members from the members who only signed up for the signup credits, or maybe they didn't care, as long as they had new members joining to keep building their opt-in email list. Nowadays, most autosurf programs require new members to surf a certain amount of sites before their accounts become fully active. Some are as low as 50 pages, others as high as 1000 pages. Most autosurfs require you to allocate credits to your sites and pages before they are seen by other members. The bottom line: you will receive absolutely no benefits from signing up at an autosurf program and not participating, so please fully activate your account by logging in, surfing the required minimum sites in the least, and assigning credits to your sites.

    3) Create a Referral Page to refer new members.
    This is something I learned very early on in my discovery of autosurf traffic exchanges: the most successful members had referral pages like The Autosurf Directory, my personal referral page. Why? To maximize their credit earnings by referring new members. Nearly every autosurf program offers incentives for members to refer new members. This can range from referral contests, such as those held weekly at AutosurfMyth.com, referral bonus credits and cash, offered by SmileyTraffic.com and referral cash commissions, as offered by TrafficSpammer.com. Referring new members enables you to earn free credits without having to surf. Here's just one example: I have referred 195 members to TrafficSpammer.com and I receive approximately 2000 hits per day without having to surf myself, all from my referrals' surfing. This frees up time for me to surf at other exchanges where my downline may not be fully developed or the referral incentives may not be as lucrative. I cannot emphasize this point enough. If you want to be successful at using multiple autosurf programs, you have to build your downline so that it is not necessary for you to surf daily at every site you join. This enables you to join hundreds of autosurf programs without having to surf them all every day.


    4) Sign in to your account(s) at least once every 30 days and surf some, if required.
    Most autosurf programs have a baseline requirement for keeping your account active, which can range from participating once per week to once per month. What does this mean? It means that if you do not regularly login to your account, your account may become inactive, thereby excluding your sites from the rotation. Here's an example: Autosurf365.com requires that free members surf at least 100 pages every 7 days in order to keep their sites showing in the rotation. While I think that is a little extreme, this ensures that only active members receive the most benefits from the program. Make sure you check each autosurf program's terms when you sign up. If you do not want to be compelled to surf, only join autosurfs that do not have a minimum surf requirement. The reason I put the "sign in" part before the "surf some" part is that many autosurfs do not require surfing but do require, in the least, that members login once a month to keep their accounts from being deleted by the admin due to inactivity. Additionally, logging in once a month will enable you to check to make sure your sites still have credits and are still in the Enabled state.

    The four tips above are my best advice for making the most out of your memberships at autosurf traffic exchange programs. This comes from over 10 years of personal experience working free autosurf traffic exchanges in order to generate unlimited free quality traffic. I hope the preceding will encourage a few people who are new to autosurfing to take advantage of these tactics, which can help guarantee more benefits from autosurf programs.     I am feeling like an update post is sorely needed, so I have a couple quick items for you today, just to let you know what's happening at the Edenday.org Autosurf Traffic Exchange Network.We've made one or two substantial changes that seem to be working out for the greater good of all members.

    I have been missing the good old days of 2003-2005, when I owned and operated approximately 25 autosurf traffic exchanges. That's not to say I want to go back to being spread so thin, but I did revert back to a policy that made us much more prolific back in those days. In the last couple of weeks, I made the decision to adjust the surf ratio at HyperSpeedHits.com to 1:1 for all of our Free Members, which means our Free Members now earn 1 view of their site for every 1 site they view. This has helped pick up the surf stats quite a bit already, which is a great sign and gives me the necessary encouragement to believe we are moving in the right direction.

    I read about another 1:1 exchange closing its doors this week which saddened me because although it was a newer site that just started less than a year ago, it seemed to be successful in terms of the amount of pageviews it was generating for its members. We have already seen an increase in the number of new member signups since the new 1:1 surf ratio went into effect. My hope is that the 1:1 surf ratio will entice a new audience of potential members, those that want to get back exactly what they are putting in. Seems fair to me!  

    Additionally, I changed the moniker for our Free Membership level from 'Average Speed' to 'Intro Speed.' Frankly, there is nothing "average" about our Free Members - they are the lifeblood of our exchange! So I gave the free membership level the new name of Intro Speed, which seems to fit better. Besides the name change and the increased surf ratio (from 2:1 to 1:1 for free members) all other characteristics of our free membership level stay the same.

    Although, I do have to mention that I am considering some changes to our URL limit amount for free memberships. Free members are currently limited to listing 10 active URLs, but I am considering an increase in that amount or a total removal of all limitations. What do you think? I'd love to have some feedback on this issue. With all previous sites that I have owned, I did not have a restriction on URLs; ALL members could list unlimited URLs as long as they had enough credits to sustain them. I have to admit as well, I have allowed some free members to list more than 10 URLs lately, especially those members that have banked thousands and thousands of credits. It just seems fair to make these exceptions because some free members are willing to surf extremely hard, and I think they deserve some kudos!

    I am still looking for members at HyperSpeedHits.com that have banked a large amount of credits to trade in said credits for a Lifetime Upgrade. The goal is twofold: 1) To reduce the credit deficiency and 2) To get more free members into upgraded memberships. Any member who is interested in making a trade or participating in our Trade For Upgrade program should contact us ASAP. I feel it is very important to allow free members to become featured advertisers without any money changing hands. If you can contribute to our exchange by surfing, you can earn a lifetime upgrade. It's a win-win situation for the exchange and for the members.

  • Improve Alexa Traffic Rankings With Autosurf Traffic Exchange Programs

    To begin with, I’d like to show you some factual proof of increased traffic rankings by publishing our starting point numbers from November 2010. These are our Alexa.com rankings for two websites we run, both of which have content that deals exclusively with autosurf traffic exchanges. Those are as follows, as of November 19, 2010:

    Edenday.org =========> 637,281

    HyperSpeedHits.com ===> 134,010

    So now to the good part; where we have come thus far, in under six months time. Here are our rankings as of today, April 5, 2011:

    Edenday.org =========> 451,812             (That is an improvement of 185,469!)

    HyperSpeedHits.com ===> 120,881             (That is an improvement of 13,129.)

    My reason for stating up front that my websites have content about autosurf programs is because I have often read articles, blog posts and comments on the web that imply that any association with autosurf programs essentially gets your site blacklisted or frowned upon by both ranking companies like Alexa and search engines.

    The statistics above are proof that this reasoning is incorrect, and I am here to dispel any notion that using autosurfs negatively affects your site’s performance in the SE and ranking world. Autosurf traffic exchanges make it possible for anyone to publish a site or page, and immediately have a receptive audience, at almost no cost to the publisher. Traffic is something that every site owner needs. The more viewers you reach, the more times your message gets across, the better the chance that you will make sales and/or get signups, especially if you offer a quality product or service.

    I encourage anyone who happens to stumble upon this blog to check out the free resources and information we have to offer at Edenday.org. We have put autosurf traffic exchanges to work for our websites, and for the last decade, these types of programs have brought nearly 95% of the daily traffic flow to the two websites referenced above. On average, autosurf programs that we actively surf and refer new members to are able to generate roughly 5,000 to 10,000 hits per day (or more!) to Edenday.org.     The site Sharenator estimates that HyperSpeedHits gets an average of 19,074 visitors every day. For a grassroots traffic exchange that only advertises at other traffic exchanges, that is an incredible daily visitor number!

    I would also like to note that if you are working towards improving your Alexa rankings, aside from increasing your daily traffic flow with autosurf programs, you really need to do a few small things to help your site(s) along. If you want to see your rankings improve faster, here is my best advice:

    1. Claim ownership and verify that you are the owner of the website by going through the validation process once you have signed up for an account with Alexa.com.

    2. Add an Alexa widget to the homepage of the site and record your starting traffic rank number and the date you started working these steps.

    3. Download and install the Alexa toolbar – I was resistant to doing this at first, but now I can’t live without it! It has too many awesome features to list right here. :)

    4. Use the Alexa toolbar to search for your own site. Make sure to click through to your site and spend some time looking at a couple pages. I usually do this a few times a week.

    If you combine these four steps with making the most of autosurf programs, I am about 99% sure you will see an improvement in your rankings. I surely would appreciate any feedback from anyone who puts this plan into action. Please feel free to comment on whether what I have written has worked for your sites or not. I think this is a pretty simple formula for getting results.

    I have personally utilized everything written in this post, and the proof of our success with this method is right up there at the start.   • Autosurf Traffic Exchanges Work ~ Best Alexa Rankings Yet!
    All Signs Point to Full Speed Ahead ---->

    It’s been quite a while since I posted, so our readers are due an update on what’s happening at Edenday.org and HyperSpeedHits.com. We had a little lull after the end of the year, but we’re in the midst of a renaissance and things are moving along swell.

    We had our best Alexa rankings to date this month, with our rank improving to 129,868 at Hyperspeedhits.com and 530,037 at Edenday.org. We started at 134,010 and 637,281, respectively, back in November 2010. I downloaded and installed the Alexa toolbar in November after reading a couple of articles that said using the Alexa toolbar to search for your own site from time to time can improve your rank, and ours have been steadily improving since. The articles also suggested adding the Alexa banner/widget to your site as another means of improving rankings, and in that respect I have also jumped on the Alexa train.

    I can honestly say that nearly 95% of the traffic my sites receive comes to us via autosurf traffic exchanges. The proof is in the pudding, and you can rest assured that the unlimited free traffic autosurfs provide will not only help bring quality visitors to your site, but also improve your site's rankings with sites like Alexa.com. An added benefit of autosurfs is their ability to help improve your search engine results page listings by bringing a large volume of hits to your sites/pages each day.

    On that note, a brief update on our SERPs: we've been focusing on the keyword 'autosurf' for the last few months. We started at about page 6, I believe, back about 2 or 3 months ago. As of this week, we are kind of volleying between the bottom of page 2 and the top of page 3. Something a little weird is going on; sometimes the listing is our index page, and sometime it's the autosurf directory. On any given day you can find one or the other, but never both. No matter. I can chalk that up to highly effective meta-tags, and roll with it.

    I am super stoked that we have made so much progress in that department. Of course, there is still room for improvement. I, like many webmasters, have the goal of page 1 listings for all the most desirable keywords in my niche. We should all shoot for that and not give up until it's attained. I know for a fact that it is attainable, because we were there just a few years ago, and I know we can do it again. My goal is to move on to other top traffic exchange industry keywords in future months. I'm baby stepping it.

    I believe this is going to have to suffice for a post today, because I have to shift focus now to Lionbridge.com tasks. I've been working for LB since December 2009, and I have to say it has been a great experience. It affords me the opportunity to work at home while I work on running our websites/blogs/pages/profiles etc., concurrently which, for me, is a beautiful thing. It just occurred to me how large our portfolio has gotten! Web 2.0 is so much fun. :)

  • For Every Naysayer of Autosurf Traffic Exchange Validity...
    It's been amazing to be able to track the performance of Edenday.org on the SERPs over the last couple of months, as I have been focusing on one keyword and driving our position upwards on Google, specifically. You'll have to read my previous posts for more details, because I am so excited by today's news that I don't want to take the time to rehash redundant facts about the site and where we were, how far we've come, etc.

    Every day, I read articles, blog posts, etc., online from both individuals and businesses, that degrade the value of autosurf traffic exchanges and the supposedly low quality or 'junk' traffic they produce. For someone like me, an avid autosurfer and an autosurf traffic exchange owner, it is incredibly frustrating because, as I am implying here, I am one that focuses roughly 95% of my advertising efforts at free autosurf sites.

    The bottom line: I see results each and every day. I am currently watching my website rise from the murky depths of search result pages 6-10, to the top of page 4 in a matter of weeks. I get signups to the programs I promote almost every day and I convert visitors to customers on a weekly basis. (Of course, daily would be nice!) So tell me now, how is it that autosurfs negatively affect your rankings, positions and promo efforts by sending junk traffic? Hmmm.... there seems to be a disconnect of sorts between these two ideas.

    Just earlier this week, we were at the bottom of page 4 for the keyword 'autosurf.' Today I checked and we were already at the top of page 4! The site is steadily climbing, thanks to the volume of hits I have been able to keep coming in, using sites such as HyperSpeedHits.com (the autosurf traffic exchange I own) AblazeWithTraffic.com (owned by James Dias, of whom I am a huge fan!) TheUltimateProfessionalAutosurf.com (owned by two fantastic guys, Mike & Ken) and SmileyTraffic.com (owned by Vern and has the largest membership base, at 80,000+ members) just to name a few, as well as some minor tweaking of metatags and keyword density.

    Mind you, I am not a SEO expert, nor do I employ any such person or company to help me target keywords and increase density. I am a grassroots website owner that has been around the block with autosurf traffic exchanges since their very beginning back in late 2001, early 2002. I have watched and participated in the evolution of the traffic exchange industry over the last decade, having seen it rise from absolutely no validity way back when to a highly relevant and effective free traffic generation method. So when I read pieces that slam the merits of autosurf sites, I have to appease my sense of injustice with the thought that whoever has written negative things about autosurfs has either not used them correctly and/or has not given them a fair chance.

  • From Page 6 to Page 4 in a couple of weeks! Page 1 Here We Come!
    I had no idea how important keyword density was until recently. Losing tons of Page 1 SERP listings has taught me an important lesson. Just by tweaking our meta tags, the page title, keywords and description and then increasing how many instances the keyword 'autosurf' appears in our content, we have gone from Page 6 to Page 4 for that specific query in a matter of weeks. Of course, my goal is to be on Page 1, within the top 5 results would be awesome. We're on our way, and the proof of that is showing! Hooray! It's the little things that translate into HUGE things that give me cause for celebration.
  • Signs of Progress ~ Just a Quickie
    We've been working hard at Edenday.org to get back some of what was lost in the last year due to SEO mistakes I made (and I should have known better!) There have been some signs that we are heading in the right direction, and I want to jot them down right now before these passing thoughts escape me. These signs are encouraging and let me know that we are getting back to where we were 2 years ago.  Hopefully we can exceed all that we have done before!

    Firstly, the traffic referrals from search engines are increasing every week. We were getting about 30 visitors per week from the SEs, this is now over 50 in just a few weeks' time. Fantastic! Also, I have been monitoring our SERP positions for months now on a daily basis, and we are moving back up towards page one for many desired keywords, so that is terrific. I can't wait until we get back to page one for keywords such as 'autosurf.' I can't wait to get picked up by the SEs for the keywords that we used to get found for, such as '5 second timer' and other refined traffic exchange queries. These accomplishments are very encouraging to me because it just goes to show that you do not have to be a SEO Guru (or pay one, for that matter!) to make a real difference in your website's performance. Anyone can get their page listed on page one of Google if you make a plan and follow through.

  • Brief Updates aka What I've Been Up To In Autosurf Queen Land :)
    It's been a very busy October at Edenday.org and HyperSpeedHits.com, I've been working on the following items to continue bringing this autosurf traffic exchange network into the 21st century and Web 2.0 land:

    - Updating/reworking many old Traffic Hurricane pages. This is a program I installed on the edenday servers about 5 years ago, the theory being many keyword dense pages will bring in new potential customers. Unfortunately, the TH pages are poor quality with lots of duplicate content (google frowns on this) so I have been trying to add richer, unique content. The cool thing is, it already paid off. I updated the Autosurf-Cash page, and this brought a new member to HSH that converted to a customer, within 24 hours of publishing the new page. That's encouraging!

    - Building backlinks via blogging/social profiles/article marketing such as our Squidoo Website Traffic Generation page, IMFaceplate and of course, this blog you are reading here. I'm definitely behind the curve on this aspect of SEO, so I need to catch up and get on the article marketing hardcore. At least I am trying!

    - Improving the keyword density at Edenday. Ugh. I have lost so many key positions on SERPs over the last year because I streamlined the homepage and removed tons of text. Duh. That text was highly regarded by the search engines and we're currently only getting about 30-40 search engine traffic referrals a week. I've added a big ol’ resource box on the homepage and I am currently filling it with relevant keyword rich content.

    - Planning a trade-credits-for-upgrade deal at Hyperspeedhits, which is still in the mindspin stage. That means I am thinking about it but haven't made any progress towards putting it into action. I will accomplish this before the week is out, I promise.  Also, I sorely need to create a new Deal of the Week at HSH. I am such a slacker. It's on the agenda.

    - Increasing the network's exposure through social networking / social bookmarking avenues. It's a slow process, but somebody's got to do it. This is a huge part of my plan to increase our exposure at Edenday.

    - Trying to get through the month doing all this plus keep up with my day job, working for the Big G. I have been at this job for almost a year now, and it is still like pulling teeth for me to get 30 hours in. I can't complain, though, because I don't have to leave my house & commute to work. For the first time in my life, I am a true telecommuter. If anyone out there is curious about a 100% legitimate work at home job, I mean the kind that is real work, no investment, a real job, not a scam, not a ponzi or MLM scheme, I mean real, real work, please contact me via the Contact page at Edenday.org. I am more than happy to share my experience and point you in the right direction. BTW, they hire internationally, so don't let the fact that you live in another country or speak a language other than English deter you.

    There are about 150 million other items on my agenda, so each day I am just trying to prioritize in my mind and attack each item as the inspiration hits me. Being a website owner is not an easy process. It is a continual evolution of your self and your site. I want Edenday to be as good as it can be. I know it will get there someday! It's been 7 years in the making at the site, almost 10 for me as an autosurf queen. Eventually, I will be satisfied!
