Using Article Submissions to Build Up Business Websites

Dec 1st 2011 at 11:46 AM

Building a website is just like any other business. People need to hear about it to know it exists. Article submissions are a great way to get the word out about an online business. This uses SEO keywords to have the owner's site show up when people use search engines. It is a very good idea, but people need to know how to submit these articles so that they are actually informative and not just taking up space as basic spam.

Many website owners are now hiring out for these skills. In this country, they typically want people who have a good command of the English language. They should be able to understand the way SEO articles work and incorporate the needed keywords without making the articles link spam. They also want completely original work.

The main thing to understand about articles used for building a websites popularity is SEO or search engine optimization. This is the process of improving the chances of a website being seen through simple search engine results. Many people strive to have their site on the first page of results. SEO is the marketing strategy these websites incorporate. That means knowing the words that people most commonly use to search with or knowing actual terms and also the most common search engines used.

Another thing article submitters must take into consideration is the number of back links they have. This is the number of internal links that are on a websites page. These can also be incorporated using SEO methods. Many sites that provide article submissions for other sites usually promise around 2 to 3 links per article.

What many people forget to realize when doing article submissions, is to pay attention to the guidelines set by the client or website where the articles will be posted. This will result in poor content. Many of these guidelines state proper grammar. However, many people do not take the time to perform edits or proofread their articles before submission. This completely wastes the client's time. They could have easily written the article themselves with the time it takes to make edits on these types of submissions. This will only result in negative feedback for the person who wrote the article, if they work through a site, and in some cases the client will refuse payment.

After learning that SEO skills and good grammar skills have to combine to make articles that will be seen, the next step is to submit the articles to directories that will allow them to be seen. After, these articles have been seen people can then link back to the person's website. That one person can turn into three and those three can turn into nine. So the chain begins and business will start to be built.

This is a great way for websites to be promoted. Learning these little insides to marketing can help any owner build up a successful site. All it takes is finding talented people who will work for decent rates.
