You have chosen your Primary Business.  You have chosen your mentor.  You have established your business email account.  You have developed your marketing tools.  Now what?  It is time to establish your method of online marketing.

If you have chosen a mentor, he/she should be able to lead you in the right direction.  If you are still working on your own, you will need to do some research to find the areas where your product or service will be received the best.  I mean you don't want to try to sell ice cubes to Eskimos?

There are several well accepted methods of marketing online.  I will mention a few:  traffic exchange marketing, safe list marketing, social media marketing, forum marketing, classified ads, article marketing, and blogging.  These are some of the highest rated methods of getting your message to the public.  You will need to find which method works for you.  While one person may enjoy surfing traffic exchanges for hours, you may find it tedious and boring.  You want to find a method of marketing which you enjoy and which will bring you the desired results.

This is a critical step in your online marketing career.  You can do the trial and error method but I highly recommend you find a mentor, who is having success, to follow.  This will eliminate some rookie mistakes and possibly save you lots of time and money.
