How Do You Feel About Sweeva Now?
I have been a member of Sweeva since day one. When I saw the people involved in launching this new traffic exchange site, I knew it would be a huge success. And boy was I right. People began flocking to Sweeva at a pretty impressive rate. Now that things have settled down from the initial launch. They seem to still be getting new members at a pretty good rate. I can't quote any stats but, what I do know, is I am seeing new members surfing and commenting daily.
The best thing about Sweeva is the ability to communicate with other members. First, you will receive immediate feedback for your marketing campaigns. I now release all of my new campaigns here first so I can get some real time feedback from other members. This gives me the ability to tweak the campaign before I give it a full fledged marketing launch. Second, you can communicate with members via your own profile page or you can visit their profile page and leave comments. This is a very good way to meet new people with whom you may have similar ideas about marketing. And third, they have set up links to a few of the main social networks so you can connect with members at other places. This is pretty cool too and I have accumulated quite a few new social networking friends because of this feature.
It seems they keep looking for ways to improve the system which is good because there are a few things I don't like about Sweeva. Okay, mainly there is just one main thing which needs to be improved. Credits.
Sweeva EATS UP credits. I am an upgraded member and purchased a monthly value pack and I can not keep enough credits. So, I am only able to advertise, as much as I would like to, a few days per month. I can click to get enough credits to get my site seen once or twice a day. But, this is no where near enough exposure for this site. With that said, there are a few members who seem to be advertising endlessly. I have no idea how they are doing it. I have even tried to contact a couple of them via their profile page but no response.
Recently, I thought they had made a vast improvement. They started a surf 10 sites a day and earn 10. As you continue to surf consecutive days in a row, what you earn increases 10 per day. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. I thought we were receiving bonus credits and it turns out we are receiving bonus Experience points. These points are used to add things like color to your text messages. All fine and dandy but the Credits would have been a really sweet deal.
I hope the administration can figure out how to get us more credits without hurting their bottom line. Because, as we all know, this is a business for profit. But, for now, I don't see how a free member would be able to surf enough to get their site seen. This is just my opinion but, to me, this is the one major flaw about Sweeva.

Oct 10th 2010 at 7:54 PM by catherinedwhite Don't get me wrong. I love Sweeva. It is my favorite place to surf and advertise. With the 30 second timer, you ad gets seen longer. But, this also limits your ability to surf a lot of sites in an hour. Kind of a catch 22.
As John mentioned below, you can take advantage of the off peak hours and get your site seen by a smaller more International crowd. So, if you have a program which is good for everyone, this would be a good strategy.

Oct 10th 2010 at 6:54 PM by insidmal You've just got to keep surfing away, every time you rank up you get 1 more credit per view (2 if you are upgraded) up to 10 ranks.. so it gets easier and easier over time..
The first few ranks seem endless because you are getting so few credits and having to spend so many, but later on it gets easier and easier, you also gain credits and XP for having your sites viewed, so the more credits you get to have your site viewed, the faster you progress..
I have a lot of referrals that never make it past rank 1 or 2 because when you are that early on the ration is really garbage and it takes so much to get a view, but like others have said it is market driven, another thing is that the really odd times and off hours the bids are a lot lower then the views proportionately compared to peak times so there can be some value in doing bids in off hours if you don't mind a more international audience..
you can put in lower bids and still get views, those crazy high bidders will get their views first in the hour, but they will use up their bids fast and then your lower bids will fill in the gaps closer to the end of the hour..
there's my 2 cents in 4 paragraphs, lol

Aug 21st 2010 at 7:24 AM by stevemccardell I've always said the best way to attract people to an opportunity is to be honest about it. If you're strictly "rah rah," then no one believes you. I appreciate your candor in this article.

Aug 21st 2010 at 2:52 AM by lulubel This is a really nice review of Sweeva, and you've covered pretty much the same things as I covered when I wrote an updated review for my blog. Great minds think alike!! I think some of the people who advertise endlessly have 100s of referrals, and they're getting huge numbers of credits from them, others are just putting in a lot of money. I'm upgraded and have 2 monthly credit subscriptions running, and it still isn't enough to get my sites seen as often as I want. I'll probably add another 2 subscriptions if they're available at the times I need them. One important point to note about Sweeva is that the value of credits is entirely market driven. I'm getting considerably less than a "1:1 hit ratio" at the moment, but that's all down to how many credits people are prepared to pay to get their sites shown. It just shows how hugely popular Sweeva is!
