Have to disagree about Affiliate Funnel and Traffic Hoopla as essential tools. These programs are purely popularity ratings. I must also wonder why you omit Traffic Tornado. It too has been around for years, not to mention smaller rank lists. Are they not worthy? TEs are a wonderful source of advertising. But measuring effectiveness is an individual process. Not every marketer uses the same approach and what works for one doesn't necessarily work for others. Sep 9th 2010 at 7:14 AM by m8t43
Interesting article, I too have been on a long journey, researching Traffic Exchanges, before setting up my own TE. I agree with Louise as to what Admin actually means. And yes I belong to Affiliate Funnel which has proven to be invaluable to me and Traffic Hoopla. Sep 9th 2010 at 6:55 AM by lulubel
Nice article, and you seem to be getting on well. A few additions ... admin is also often the owner(edit: definition updated), and the support "team" (especially at smaller TEs) is also often the owner! You missed a couple of valuable resources ... Affiliate Funnel and Traffic Hoopla, which are both essential tools (in my opinion) to save a lot of trial and error when you first start out.

"Below is a list of Traffic Exchanges I registered with on this journey of mine. They started off being in alphabetical order, that was before ideas started creeping in. These are still crystalizing. All banners and links lead to my referral link from which I will benefit so please be aware of it."

Word Admin = refers to a person tasked to maintaining Traffic Exchange or Owner
