Ways Of Getting Exposure For Your Brand

The Bland family

I'm bursting with inspiration today so I'd like to share a little idea I had about getting more exposure for your various brands.

For some time now I have been on Friendfeed which is a kind of social networking site that integrates with Google and Twitter.

Now Friendfeed has been a bit of a 'sleeper' for me. Because I have my Twitter feed running through it I don't check it all that often, but without really doing very much I now have over 400 subscribers.

The Twitter feed ensures that articles are being posted regularly to Friendfeed creating the impression of activity. Now the thing I just discovered is you can actually put your business URL right on your profile page so when people drop by your site there is your clickable URL all ready and tempting!

You can check my Friendfeed porfile out.

Now of course you do need to be active on Twitter in order to keep your Friendfeed busy, otherwise you will need to post comments straight into Friendfeed. I've set up a number of RSS feeds for my Twitter account mainly news reports which come out every few hours.

You can use Twitterfeed or Hootsuite to set up your feeds and various others I imagine. Beware that Hootsuite are about to offer a 'Pro' version and will soon only allow free users 2 feeds

.So I will be migrating back to Twitterfeed very shortly as it is free. I may have to do a separate article about setting up a Twitterfeed if anyone would find it useful.
