Twitter Friendly To

Twitter is most used social media device out there (besides Facebook) and it is continuing to grow each and every month. With 140 characters you can tell your followers  anything that you need from what you had for dinner or what you are working on at the moment. Twitter is a fabulous platform, but like any device it needs to be used carefully.
 

  •    Cold Selling Does Not Work – For some reason people believe if they get a large amount of followers and overload them with sales pitches that it is easy money in the bank but this is far from being accurate. A bazillion different reasons but the main two being the economy is still struggling and people have become much more blind to ads. Twitter is like anything else you need to back up what you say and when your competing against  lots of other people your Tweets need to stand out to get attention.

  •   Spam is not appreciated anywhere on the net so if you continuously run tweets that are trying to sell something your followers won’t be following you for very long. I personally try to use a two in ten or even a two in ten where the majority of my links are interesting news and the others are specific to the product I am trying to promote. In order to stand out from everyone else you need to be unique and not send out the same message time after time.this is where you need to grab the attention of your followers.

  • Twitter is an explosive device that shows no sign of slowing down but it is essential that you realize from the beginning what your main aim(goal) is to using this powerful social device. Build up your Twitter followers, nurture the relationships and generate a strong social network are the key areas to keep in mind.

  •  It Takes Time – It takes a lot of time to build up a loyal list of followers and lots of web-site owners for whatever the reason count on Twitter as their only promotional device which is a mistake. Twitter can pay off large but it is hazardous to put all of your eggs in one basket.

I think that Twitter provides great marketing "leverage" in conjunction with other social sites, TE's and safe list mailers we use in our online marketing agenda. Very good article. Thanks for sharing.

The point of the matter is twitter became so HUGE because of what "it was or is" do not take advantage of a good thing or individual. Sometimes the best thing's in life also take time.

Thanks for the really sensible advice here. If only more people on Twitter would read this article and stop spamming! Twitter, as with any social media platform, is all about building relationships.
