Sweeva a bit disappointing

Oct 1st 2010 at 5:28 PM

I still love the concept of Sweeva (that is why i upgraded in the very start) but now i am a bit dissapointed. It took off like a rocket and I expected it to grow faster than it did. Or maybe there are more members but they are not surfing. i never see more than 120 surfing. You need many credits to have your site seen and it takes ages to progress to a higher level.

i find myself more often surfing at Survo now more often where the bids are much lower than at sweeva. And they are improving it at much lately. maybe should give it a try.

Hi Paula, I agree with you about Sweeva requiring too many credits. I also upgraded to start with. I left Sweeva for two reasons. ONE... My account got reset somehow and I lost all "awards" and referrals. Support never got this straightened out. TWO... When I surfed most of the responses about a page included mostly bickering between people Supposedly commenting on the site that is being viewed! You could tell that these people were "Newbies" by their uninformed comments!

I thought the comment that Sweeva was not a traffic exchange was hilarious. Of course it's a traffic exchange. AND the rating system is primarily to get people to engage with the site viewed rather simply half close your browser and click an icon every 15 seconds. On those TE's most of the other browsers are doing the same thing. The goal of most TE browsers is to get points so they can display their site to people who are browsing to get points to display their site. Yes at Sweeva you can get some feedback on your site but its primary goal is still to get traffic to your site and opt-ins to your list! What makes sweeva different is that they have so many 'rewards' for the browser that actually engages with the sites displayed. All this being said I do my 10 religiously at Sweeva.

Yep 10 a day is the way to go

Hi Paula, are yoiu doing the 10 a day. After a while this will really kickstart you up the ranks. You have to surf 10 sites a day though. Just remember that Sweeva is not a traffic exchange so it is not productive just to visit hundreds of sites, get to know the people. It does work and I am getting commissions so hang in there.

You get feedback on SurfVo the same way.

I do agree that the bids are on the high side to get your sites seen (mine are averaging between 117-156 credits), but the MAIN concept behind Sweeva is to get FEEDBACK on your sites (to see if it's good to go or needs tweaking) and to interact with the site owners and other members, even though signups can and do happen. I'm a free member and am at Level 39. I use Sweeva more as a barometer to see what the latest programs are (those "share" programs seem to be popular now!) than using it as a 'regular' traffic exchange to surf and earn credits so that my sites can be seen.

I'm still getting good results and earnings at Sweeva. Howver it's main benefit to me is getting my sites looked at for quality assurance purposes before I use nthem extensively.

Yes, I know, i use it. However on SurfVo you get credits too every day you surf 20. Like I site, both social browsers have nice features

I like the 10 a day feature at Sweeva. So long as you keep doing this daily without fail, you will find yourself leveling up much faster - at least I've noticed a big improvement in the speed at which I level up since I started using the 10 a day feature daily without fail.

I like the new features 10 a day and site of the day. On Survo they now give extra credits every day you surf 20 sites. And you can have your site seen for far lower bids than on Sweeva. Altough Sweeva has more features and widgets, at this moment i prefer Surfvo.

Hello Paula. I think I'll try Survo (I'll register from your link) and see how it goes.

I disagree with this. (Well, I agree with having to spend a lot of credits per site view, but personally, I think it's worth it.) It's normal for growth to slow after the initial rush of excitement about a big launch, and Sweeva's growth is still stronger than practically any other TE. As for taking ages to level up, I level up at least once, and often twice a day. I've surfed 10 a day since that feature was introduced, and tomorrow will earn 680 experience before you count the site of the day and extra exp earned from surfing and getting my sites seen.

We know that numbers haven't been where members would like. Trust me, we are always looking for new ways to build the active membership. We'd love to hear your feedback too, if you have any ideas please let me know. My direct email is teamtechinc at gmail dot com

Yes, I am starting to notice that too. That the average members surfing is around the 120 mark. I am a pro member too. But I do get an occasional sign-up or an optin form filled out for more information. So I still sweeva on for now. I am also a member of surfvo too. It is a great site. Thanks for your article. :o)
