List Building Techniques: Why You Should Consider Using A Squeeze Page

Mar 3rd 2011 at 3:13 PM

There's a wide variety of list building techniques that you should be evaluating if you're a part of marketing with email.  There are several methods that seem to stand out better than others because of the success rates they have in converting potential prospects into future customers at some stage in time.  One of the very popular list building techniques is utilizing something called a squeeze page.

What is a squeeze page?

A squeeze page is a single web page you have on your internet site for the intention of recording the visitors details.  There is usually a form where somebody can enter in details like their name, e-mail, phone number, address, or any other information that you might want your website visitor to supply.  All of this is done voluntarily generally in exchange for something such as a written report, e book, download, or additional information.  The success of these comes in the simplicity of an individual web page with the function of getting your visitor's details.

What are the benefits of a squeeze page?

Because it is only one web page, you may make adjustments to it and tweak it to go on to boost the conversion rate of the web site.  As you begin to get more individuals opting into that particular page, you will start noticing better results from all the traffic you are delivering to it.

Take your various sources of targeted traffic and send all of it to this page.  Whether you are getting your traffic from search engines, social networking, or advertising and marketing it can all go to this page you know will help capture information and send site visitors into your sales funnel.

This page can be easily transformed or revised based on the form of targeted traffic that you're receiving.  You might manage a specific ad and copying the page and modifying the headline would be easy work to make the page more appropriate for that form of targeted visitors.

Many marketers offer a 'Free' incentive or giveaway in exchange for visitors names and email addresses in their squeeze page.

Capture interested parties contact information for future use.

You will not be sacrificing a chance to market in the future to site visitors anymore.  Many people come to a site and aren't likely to be sold on a concept, merchandise, or service the first time they come across it.  With the use of a squeeze page, it is possible to build a list and remain in continuous connection with the customer and get your information across to them a lot more times.

Would you like to build squeeze pages to capture visitors to form your own marketing list?  If so, you might want to look at listlaser.com Here you can construct three great looking pages with built in incentive giveaways absolutely free.
