How to Get GREAT Results with Safelists!

I have found that a basic “how to” get results formula for Safelists requires a precision in advertising, incentive, consistency and timing. Below, I have shared a few tips and techniques that have been very helpful to me and that many people tend to overlook when it comes to Safelists:

1.) Name Variables: Whenever possible, use the name variables for personalizing an email ad. These variables differ from list to list, but they all help us reach out to our potential reader/prospect by name, creating a personal touch.

2.) Ad Copy: Keep your ads short and to the point. You aren’t looking for your sales ad/letter to sell your opportunity — that is the job of your affiliate/website. It is the job of your Safelist ad to sell a click on a link. Safelists are best used as a traffic generating tool.

3.) Banners and Text Ads: Most Safelists give you the option to advertise banners and text ads on their websites, so why not USE THEM!? Safelists receive heavy volumes of traffic 24 hours pers day, 7 days per week. You will want to take advantage of every opportunity you can to capitalize on this traffic.

4.) Paid Advertising: In most cases, these contact lists for most of the major Safelists are a great way to generate traffic and leads. One of the biggest mistakes people make, using solo blasts, is trying to direct sell with that blast, instead of converting that traffic into leads and prospects on your mailing list.

5.) Subject Lines: Safe list advertising is all about selling — it is the job of your subject line to sell the reader on the fact that they NEED to open and read your ad. It is the job of your ad/sales letter to sell the reader on the click of a link in pursuit of your offering… and so on, and so on. If your subject line isn’t TOP NOTCH, then it doesn’t matter how great your sales letter is. A sales letter that no one reads doesn’t sell anything.
