Article marketing is one of the most popular ways to build a steady stream of traffic. The best part of article marketing is once you create it and put it up it stays there for the life of that site. Your articles should be based around the niche your site deals in either solving a issue many have or teaching them something new in the niche. At the end of the article you can use what is called a resource box to direct the reader to your main website.
The most popular place to submit your articles to is a site called Ezine Articles. But I also run my own article directory in which I am offering free back linking to your article on the next 5,000 article submissions at Blazing Articles.
SEO is a term you should get to know it stands for Search Engine Optimization. There are two key factors that play a part in SEO.
1. One page factors - This deals with many features of your site including the domain name and the content found on each page. Before buying a domain name you will want to do some keyword research in order to find the search terms that are providing the most traffic. After you find this keyword do your best to include it within the domain name itself. This will help your site greatly when ranking for this keyword later on.
2. Off page factors - To put it simple these are links on other sites that point back to your site. However the words used to link back to your site are a factor and gives you an extra boost for that keyword. Google has a simple system set up which many try to complicate, they give each site a PR ranking (Page Rank) that ranges from 1 - 10 10 being the best possible. The higher the PR value of the site that links to your the better quality of a link it is providing you what many call "Link Juice" This link juice plays a strong role in ranking you higher in search engines.
