Get to Know me before you Sell to Me

The most effective way of selling is by word of mouth. We are more likely to take buying and product advice from someone we trust and know than from a stranger. This morning I joined up in three programs, one of which I talk a lifetime membership in that cost over $60 USD.

Why did I do this?

Well one of the people in my downline at StartXChange made the recommendations and gave me the evidence of her success in the programs. I put a challenge to her several months ago when she tried to cold call me. I told her, go out and prove the programs and then come back to me when you have got your first payments.

Yesterday I got an email with all the details and I was sold. In fact I have seen the same programs advertised hundreds of times by others but the personal touch + the evidence compelled me to take action.

If you have referrals love them, communicate with them and help them to succeed. After a while when you do make a recommendation then they will be more inclined to support your efforts.

I like what u wrote about this subject. I get dozens of emails & offers every day (and for awhile was joining all of them). I'm trying to be more cautious now, so this article hit home for ME! Blessings, Susan
