Having worked in sales and marketing for most of my life, I have never experienced the joy I do now in the merchant processing field. If you need credit card processing equipment online or offline, contact me. My company runs specials all the time.

Because I love helping people obtain their goals and become successful, my approach to any prospective business owner is whether I can save them money and increase their profits. If I can do that, then I\'ve done my job.

One of my passions is blogging about social media marketing for businesses, particularly small businesses. I provide advice and best practices to help businesses understand the quagmire that exists on Facebook, YouTube and other social network marketing opportunities.

In my spare time I take stunning photos, and have been published by: CNN News, KMOV-TV (St. Louis, MO.),Discovery Channel The Storm Chasers, St Louis Bureau of Tourism Online Travel Brochure (2009).

How Can I Get You Interested In Me?

Jul 30th 2011 at 4:25 PM

As a marketing specialist I'm often asking myself, 'what must I do to increase engagement for my clients?'

I've found that social media is a lot like dating.  The girl will lose interest if you bore her.  The man will look elsewhere if there's no connection.  Basically, in social media you find yourself asking your followers and friends to 'help you help them' discover what they want.  But, it isn't that easy.  Because even though you ask them, they don't always tell you.  Social media, as easy and accessible as it is, still remains a mystery for many.

It's tough I know.  Sometimes getting people just to share your content becomes a challenge, let alone selling a product or service online.  I know, I frequently turn the mirror inward to look for answers.  We all need to know how to speak to our readers.  To be able to talk the language that your prospects and customers understand.

I am going to use this platform to write short tips on engagement, integration and customer marketing.  Together we can discover unique, fun ways to increase 'likes' and followers.  One way that works is by using traditional SEO (search engine optimization.)  In the next article I will share with you how using SEO can increase your Facebook Likes and your Twitter followers.  Just keep reading and leave a comment if you like.
