Please note, online registration does not approve your travel to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib. You have to wait for approval of your travel by the government.

When will you get approval?

After online registration on given website with correct information, one will receive the conformation four days prior to their selected date of journey through SMS on the registered number. Once you get approval of travel, print ETA (Electronic Travel Approval) for which registered phone number and passport number will be required. One must carry ETA at the time of their journey for verification.

Do we need to have passport to travel?

As per the guidance being provided by the Pakistan Government, pilgrims have to acquire passport to visit Gurdwara Darbar Sahib. However, Visa application has been waived off for smoother travel of devotees to this divine place. Even passport condition is also going through bilateral agreements between both nations but till then you need your passport number at the time of online registration and have to carry it through your journey as a proof of identification.
