The Hitachi NR83A2 framing nailer drives roundheaded nails pneumatically from a compressed air power source. The nailgun will fire 113-.131 gauge flooring nails between 2 inches and 3-1/4 inches. The powerful construction can tackle any type wood or project. The NR83A2 is built for accuracy and heavy duty use, ensuring years of trouble free service for even the most demanding contractors or carpenters.
This workhorse is perfect for any carpentry job whether it be roof decking, wall framing, trusses, window buildup, or even subflooring. The Hitachi NR83A2 holds between 64-70 nails depending on their dimensions. The angled magazine, approximately 21 degrees, allows the nailgun to fit into almost any space.
The open nose design allows clearing jammed nails an effortless function. The NR83A2 also features a tool free depth adjustment. A knob is located near the nose of the nail gun allowing quick adjustment when moving between different woods and thicknesses. The two piece magazine is constructed of stainless steel, and is designed for quick and easy loading of round head plastic strip nails. the handle is covered by a comfortable rubber grip.
The Hitachi NR83A2 can also be fired in one of two modes. The first mode is intermittent firing, which is better suited for precision fastening. The continuous firing option can be triggered by flipping a convenient lever. Once triggered, the bump action firing method will continuously shoots nails.
