Less power consumption
The power consumption of the complete system with TV, 2.1-conditioning and Blu-ray player was tested at 87.1 watts during normal operation and 0.9 watts in standby - that's perfectly fine. In most economical ECO mode the TV consumes only 55.2 watts, even alone. When we let the TV automatically adjust the image using a light sensor to the ambient conditions, the ammeter showed in a darkened room also moderate 59.6 watts.

That really impressed us the IKEA Uppleva TV in not testing. The assembly is not a huge challenge, but picture and sound quality can be open but some wishes. The sharpness is low, the surround system should provide more room sound. The features of the TV with four tuners, all major interfaces and SmartTV functions is in order; moderate as the power consumption of the entire system. It is different from the price: for the required 1,124 euros, you get loose a good, current branded TV with 40-inch diagonal, 3D playback and very good image quality - plus a home theater system with Blu-ray player and 5.1 Sound. A bargain is the IKEA Uppleva not so.
As a home theater system, we recommend the LED TV Samsung UE40ES6300 for around 650 euros, which in ranking, the strong second place, combined with the Sony BDV-E290 5.1 complete system with integrated 3D Blu-ray player for 340 euros. This combination offers 3D playback, 5.1 sound and high technology at a lower price than the Uppleva. Since you have then left for about 100 euros for a cheap TV bench. The individual components of our selection we present in detail here before.
