Tips To Help you Make Your Own Electric Motor Bicycle

Building your own electric bicycle provides you the choice of choosing the model of drive system. Chain & friction drive systems are available within kits that incorporate the leading fractions, such as the engine, battery & control knob. Most manufactured electric motor bicycle incorporate the manual drive as a pedal assist. Chain drive systems are hard to install & may require a number of adjustments. Whereas friction drive systems are easy to install consuming plain hand tools. Below are mentioned some of the tips to guide you how to build your own e-bicycle.

First place your bicycle on repair rack to lift the rear wheel. Loosen the compression bolts onto the front brake knob. Take out the knob from the handlebars & suspend it from the brake cable. Slide the control knob onto the handlebars & make tighter the compression bolts to hold it within place. Reconnect the front brake knob to the handlebars.

Position the engine vertical to the rear wheel with the side of the friction roller contacting the middle of the rear tire. String the wire harness from the engine & determine placement for the battery. Use the provided u-bolts to attach the battery instance to the bicycle frame. Place the battery within the case by tightening the bolts to its sockets. The engine shall activate & the rear wheel should turn. Make any adjustments necessary for maximum effectiveness of the friction roller at the rear tire.
