E-Book—E-Boom

Dec 3rd 2013 at 11:37 PM

You too can be a distinguished author should you glance over how E-Book industry has not been the same. Saying that it went through a resurgence is a grossly incorrect statement. E-Book as a book format was available for those who were interested, but its popularity and leashed reach, prevented the format from really taking off. People were still using their laptops for web browsing and performing other routine multimedia and internet related tasks. EBook writing agencies were understaffed and the freelancers were having a hard time making ends meet.

But things turned for the better, so much better that they wish it never turned this good as they can't keep up with demand! So what happened? What triggered the outpour of affection? Or did the people think the books are too heavy to carry? Or that most of us silently hate the fact that pages fade to yellow?

Reality is that the boom experienced by those who are offering eBook writing services or run a writing company is directly correlated to the tablet and eBook reading devices. Amazon launched its first eBook reader known as The Kindle, in conjunction with their online catalogue of books. Providing instant download and easy access, such a revised approach to reading and ease of acquisition proved to be the catalyst that pushed the eBook services from its irrelevancy to its now, mainstream prominence. With the genre heading towards maturity, if you aspire to be an author its worth taking a chance with so little to lose.

3 years of steady growth within the market segment, and the naysayers started to take notice, the pie was rising and its waft was enticing the whole neighborhood. To further endorse, the bullish outlook of eBook writers, Apple joined in to give the pie its fruity flavor.

Apple launched its first iPad in April of 2010, and the eBook writing/publishing companies have not looked back since. In conjunction with iPad Apple unveiled its iBooks portal to rival that of Amazons. Now simple math will tell u that things become twice as better, happy days were back again, for both eBook writers and companies.

For some, things got even better, as along with iBooks Apple also released its iPublishers software providing aspiring eBook writers a one stop solution for all their publishing needs. They could now illustrate their eBooks; design cover pages, add visual and audio aid. The possibilities were only limited to one's imagination.

Coupled with consumers ‘must have' response to tablets, industry and the businesses have risen to new heights. Reading has become fun again and less cumbersome, you do not have to put a book down to look up the dictionary, note taking does not lead to a wild goose chase for notebook and pencils, and it seems like eBooks and its writers and service providers are here to stay. More power to them, and to you! Because if you have a sensational idea, you might be the next tom Clancy of this era.

Writing ebooks was never so easy before. For further details about Ghost eBook Writers you can log on to the website.
