Making dining table mats from foam

• Layout a sheet of craft foam.

• Stick them firmly.

• Alternatively, cut shapes or letters out of foam and glue them down with craft glue.

Making dining table mats from cloth

You can make board mats from fabrics by putting your sewing machine at work:

• Cut two rectangles of the size of the mats you desire. Also cut 1.25cm in all                         directions.

• Sew two rectangles printed leaving a 3-4 inch gap for turning.

• Miter the corners.

• Slip stitch the opening closed.

This is how you can just sewn with the piece of cloth.
