How to dress according to your body type?
They say that each one of us fit into an outfit or the other and there is apparel for almost everyone. Dressing right is an art that needs focus, consideration and smart understanding of the changing female fashion. You might be dressing decently but the question is - are you dressing according to your body type? What outfit would make you look good and what are the strategies that can help you dress better? Commonly speaking, there are 5 different types of body: pear, apple, hourglass, ruler, upside down pear, etc.
While hourglass figure is a reward, the two body shapes that create problems in dressing, for women are apple and pear so let us focus on them.
For the apple body types –
First strategy is to create a waist. In order to do this, make sure that you are selecting outfits with empire waist but it should not look like a maternity dress and you have to be cautious with that. The outfit should be flowy but not beyond the particular limit.
Second strategy should be to try and deflect the entire attention right down below. Most of them that have the pear body shapes have a few reasons to feel jealous of the apple shaped. Wearing short outfits and skirts is not a problem with the apple shaped body females as they are believed to have decent and nicer looking legs. Short lengths also do help in balancing out body proportions.
For pear body types –
If you have a pear shaped body then, you know that the widest portion of your body is your thigh and hip area. Your first and the foremost goal should be to try slimming down your thigh and hip area so that people can pay attention to the upper half of your body and look at your cute face.
So, the first strategy here is to minimize the thigh and hip areas. You must wear pants that are making the straight line starting from your hip and going down over to the ground. As a result, your legs are going to appear lengthened by also enhancing the overall look of your stilettos.
Second strategy should be to pay more attention to upper half of your body. Wear tops that are brighter and can grab enough attention, such as a floral dress. You can also go for some shiny accessories to highlight the upper half of your body.
