Tips To Manage Both Time With Family And Career

Feb 19th 2011 at 11:09 PM

One of the problems that were encountered by most busy affiliate and internet marketers is time management. When they are too focused on their respective businesses, it means they have no or less time with their families and it might affect relationships as well. In order to solve these kind of problems, here are my tips to manage your time for both family and career.

1. Wake up early, sleep early. I wake up mostly before 8AM in order to have more time in working with the assigned projects from my clients. So I advice you guys to wake up early in the morning than late. It is also advised that you need to sleep early, and it's recommended that you must sleep at least 6 to 7 hours.

2. Don't do useless things until job is finished. For example, if you are working on an article and opening your Facebook, Twitter, etc., it might lose your focus. You must finish the job first before doing something else.

3. Always give priority to your family. As we all know, family is always our first priority than career. If there is something important for your family, you must give time to it. It is easy to tell your clients some valid reasons in case you missed the deadline or not working at all

4. Work in a comfortable place. Don't work in a place that is too hot or too cold, or even something that is not comfortable for you. Always find a place that you can work comfortably (even with your laptop).

5. Always take a break if you're tired. Every person needs a break if they spend hours of straight work. It will help you relax and refresh your mind before going to work.

I hope you will follow these tips of my own, because it will help manage both your family time and career time.
