Get the life you've always dreamed of with your very own bucketlist!

Don't know what a bucketlist is? In 2007 Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman starred together in a movie about two terminally ill men with cancer who want to have one last adventure before they die. ''Corprate billionaire Edward Cole and working class mechanic Carter Chambers have nothing in common except for their terminal illnesses. While sharing a hospital room together, they decide to leave it and do all the things they have ever wanted to do before they die according to their bucket list. In the process, both of them heal each other, become unlikely friends, and ultimately find the joy in life.''-(

Many websites have made it possible to create your own list, free of charge and connect with other people who have the same dreams. You can make one on, or

Here are some things on my bucketlist:
1. Visit all 50 states of America (haha, I haven't even been to one!)
2. Sleep in an igloo (I think I need to buy some proper clothes first...)
3. Fall in love with the right person (hes out there right?)
4. Go on an African safari (and through the Amazon Rainforrests and take lots of photos!)
5. Ride a mechanical bull (I was going to do this at the last state fair but I couldn't get on it so I chickened out! Kind of embarrassing since the last girls on it must have been between the ages of 4 and 7!)
6. Get my own dog
7. Learn French

As you can see, this list reveals alot about myself and if I took it seriously, could very well shape the future of my life. I am very interested in travel and adventure tourism even if I am a bit of a wimp but I am also interested in settling down with my husband and K9. I have alot more things on my list, but I'm not sure if I want to share them because I don't want to stiffle YOUR creativity.

When creating a bucketlist, it is important to think about what you have already achieved. Here is what is on my list:

1. Go on a missions trip with my church (we went to Vanuatu and it was beautiful!)
2. Learn how to type without looking at the keyboard (this is something my school failed to teach me and I eventually learnt on my own, from having a blog- surpise, surprise!)
3. Move abroad (I'm originally from New Zealand)
4. Live through an earthquake the same size as Haiti's (okay this wasn't on my list, but it did happen!)
5. Finish highschool
6. Learn how to sign the alphabet
7. Visit Disneyland (we went to the one in Paris which probably wasn't as good, but hey I've been!)

Sometimes the list of things you want to do will be really long, so you should break it up into different categories like travel (stand on the great wall of China), self-improvement (improve my confidence), family (teach my daughter how to waltz), health (lose 10 pounds), Charity (help at a soup kitchen), finances (bank my first million) and fun (learn how to walk on my hands!).

I hope this guide has inspired you, and encouraged you to live your life to the full. The world is a playground and you are a child. Don't forget that, now go out and enjoy it!

Without vision, the people perish. If you're not working on your own dreams, then you're helping someone else accomplish theirs.
