This Easter has been my most exciting in a long time. I could be that so many things in my life are turning for the best and a lot of things are becoming clearer.
One of the exciting things that could possibly be contributing to that is my Theophilos electronic Bible. I am currently using a free addition which is not your typical demo. The only handicap it has is that it does not have audio self-read through the bible. I am going to invest in the full version as soon as I get my pay in my new job because i think it is a good investment.
This reference bible is really comprihensive. I do not have to crack my head with memorization. I always get whatever scripture I want in record time whatever the version i use because there are over 10 versions available in my installation.
Reading and researching I came to the realization that this is a wonderful combination. The Bible is the best-seller of all ages and now infused with the great searching power of the computer , not even the sky is not limit.
This easter I had to read the Gospels again and I was especially blessed by the Truimphant Entry into Jerusalem. Our Lord Jesus ORDERED a brand new donkey. If I can take liberty here and draw some equivalence. This is like buying a brand new car , something that was never used before. My Lord has taste and style and can sure make a statement. A donkey is a cool, calm and peaceful animal. i wonder where this bad branding came about to if you are stupid you are an ass. a donkey is the only other animal which is said to have spoken in the scriptures other than the snake which got us into trouble in the garden.
I also enjoyed the dialouge between jesus and the Pharasees. to summarize it all here is one of my favourite verses:
¶Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?
The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.
Enough said , get yourself a good electronic bible and read it regularly and you will be blessed too. http://www.theophilos.com
