Depression and Anxiety

Jul 1st 2010 at 3:56 PM

I suffer with Depression and Deep Seated Anxiety, and have done for over ten years, it's a bummer when something so small can drag you down to the bottomless pit, where you sit and spend your weeks drinking yourself to obscurity, hoping that no-one will notice you and the shit state you are in because you haven't washed or shaved. And then bang the nightmares begin and the daydreams of all the shit you've been through, fighting bloody wars for your Country, miles away from your homeland, with an out of date map and a shitty compass, you are given your tasks and your expected time allowance, that's when life sucks.Have another drink of whiskey while you are sat in the corner of the lounge.

Sitting in the dark doesn't make it go away but it helps with the anxiety, and at least there will be no panic attacks tonight because you are alone.

My friends spare a thought for all the Soldiers and Sailors and Airmen and women that are still fighting

because even though I suffer, I spare all my extra thoughts for them.
