|I am an entrepreneur and started my first and current business in 2004. Entrepreneurship has been something that has been in my family all of my life. My dad worked for himself most of his life and I had a chance to work in the family business of servicing office equipment.
I have for the most part of my life have worked in manufacturing building boats. It was a very exciting field but never gave me what I was ultimately seeking....freedom. I began searching for ways to get out of the rat race and in 2001 was introduced to the painting business. I worked for a while with my brother whom had his own painting business but after a while, I realized that owning my own business was my utlimate desire.
In the time I spent in the manufacturing industry, I learned many key skills needed in being able to grow your team and business. From team building and leadership development, I was able to gain valuable training to become the leader I needed to be in order to succeed.
Now it is my desire to take what I\'ve learned throughout the process and share with other aspiring and struggling entrepreneurs to be a better leader in their niche.
If you are serious in becoming a success in your world, I encourage you to connect with me and invite you to go down this journey called Success.
Thank you for visiting my page.

Consistency: Are You the Turtle or the Hare?
Consistency is one of the biggest areas many fail at. Its easy to start something but to actually maintain consistency is the key to being able to success. Have you ever heard of the tale of the turtle and the hare? Well, to keep it short and simple, there was a race between the turtle and that hare. Well, stepping back and looking at both competitors it would be safe to assume that the hare has the fair advantage. But what happened? Once the race started, the hare was gone. It was no match at all...so it seemed. Well, the hare got a little comfortable and felt he was far enough ahead and decided to “go off road.” Meanwhile, the turtle was steady and consistent. He was steady on his course. As time passed, the turtle not only caught up with the distracted hare, but passed him and as a result came out the winner.
What Is Consistency?
In order to really get the full meaning of this story, lets analyze what the true definition of being consistent is. At Dictionary.com it defines consistent as “constantly adhering to the same principles, course, form, etc.” So you must be dedicated to a plan of action. I think its safe to say that the turtle stuck to his plan of action.
But what does it really mean to be consistent then? It means nothing short of but good old-fashioned hard and consistent work. Thats right, hard work. That’s something not too many people are familiar with today.
This is accomplished by identifying the hurdles that are hindering you from staying consistent. Once you identify these, you can then start to address them one by one on a consistent basis.
So I ask you, are you the turtle or the hare? That’s a question you must ask yourself if you want to succeed.
To Your Success,
