I have developed these affirmations over the past 20 years to cope with my depression and a lack of self confidence when meeting new people (I am also socialphobic).
Online marketing has helped me to develop new interaction skills and by joining IMfaceplate I am pushing my comfort zones to the next level and sharing some of my struggles with my fellow members.
7 Affirmations For Daily LivingEach person I meet and everything I do TODAY IS important to me.
My day is PEACEFUL AND calm.
I AM HAPPY, healthy and glad to be alive.
Universal Energy guides me gently in THE RIGHT direction.
My FOCUS IS on each moment as it happens without distraction.
My goal today is SUCCESS.
These six Affirmations contain a seventh :
Today is peaceful and I am happy, the right focus is success!
My suggestion is to write all six out on a card that you can carry with you.
Choose a different color for the text in capital letters so that the 7th phrase stands out.
Try to read it at least 3 times a day, more often if you have a moment where you can quietly reflect for a few minutes about what each one means for you.
When I started doing this I found it helpful to keep a small pocket notebook dedicated to my thoughts about the affirmations I was given at the time.
Those 7 are the result of reflection on the notebook.

Not being confronted with a physical presence allows my basic social nature to express itself. In fact, Dave has said he never wants to experience me without a computer again. He reckons if it happens again like that 11 days a few years ago, he's going to a hotel for the duration! LOL Mine died (monitor and motherboard) thanks to my cats who were promptly sent to the vet to become good boys, I have 3. |
