Better Me Luncheon: Paying It Forward

Apr 17th 2011 at 4:59 PM

It is said that the expression "pay it forward" is used to describe the perception of asking that a good turn be repaid by having it done to others in its place.  That is the essential premise of the upcoming “Better Me” Promotional Networking Luncheon. Set to be held in Westland, Michigan June 14th.

Advertising sponsors that believe in the concept, pay to have their business endorsed at the luncheon.  Part of the promoting of their business is the give-away of promotional items to the guess in attendance.  At this luncheon 90% of the guests in attendance are business shop owners that serve at least 100 customers per month. As part of the business owner’s accepted invitation, they agree to ‘pay it forward’.  They are given a shopping bag so that they can “pick to share”.  When they get back to their shop they set up a in store display and share for free the promotional items/information they pick up at the luncheon.  Oh, did I tell you they are invited to the luncheon for free! The store owners after setting up the in store display take a photo and send it to this magazine.  Then the magazine we agree to publish a story promoting that business and how they ‘paid it forward’.  During the luncheon the guest are fed a healthy meal, introduced to four speakers and other products and services from the healthy life style field.

For the 1st summer “Better Me” Promotional Networking luncheon the guest speakers will be:
