I enjoy building websites, mainly installing scripts, I been working with websites since 2006, spent many thousands doing this. I wish I known back then what I know today.

What I do now is setup websites for other people for free, some of them I maintain for a small fee. Because you don’t need to spend any money building a website I want to help you do it for FREE, learn more @

My free time I spend with family, grandkids, building cars, and love God. Not hard to find me, just google "iddigger" :)

Ok I was here, same old thing :( just same old spam crap :(

Are Other Members To Good For You.

Aug 3rd 2010 at 12:25 AM

This is a question I been asking myself after browsing though some of the members here and yes some of you do spam my email accounts, I joined IM Faceplate after opening an email and not realizing it was from one of them guru spammers, I call them guru spammers because they send more than one email a day, do them guru’s really think we want to see there email everyday ? Do they really think were that stupid ? Yah I could unsubscribe but they find there way back. Well I best not say my real thoughts about them guru’s but I know some of you are here.

So anyway here I am and so far I’m liking this site, I did follow that spammer that sent me the link to join here, did he follow back ? Not, is he better than everyone else, I think not, I see others on this site that have many followers but only follow very few, are they better than you ? They want you to join them and buy whatever there selling but don’t want to follow you, well I think that’s about as low someone can get, but what do I know ?

I understand this is a marketing site and everyone here is going to have the best opportunity, and so will many newbie’s join here that have no idea where to or how to start there business venture. Well that’s where we all come in, we do our best to try helping them making money online. We should also remember we were newbie’s at one time and we are no better than them newbie‘s, we just learned from our mistakes but still make some and will continue to do so, but not so many. We are only human and will always make mistakes.

You think maybe I’m a little frustrated ? Not really, I see this in other social sites I’m a member of but I guess my point is we should not think were better than others, because the internet and marketing is always changing it’s a good idea to always think of ourselves as newbie’s. IM Faceplace is new and we don’t really know how it will turn out yet so were all newbie’s here and not better than anyone else.

You want to sell something ? You want someone to join your site ? Well I might not be that smart but I think it would be a good idea to follow those that your promoting whatever to. Myself I don’t follow everyone who follows me because I think there spammers, but I could be wrong and might be guilt as some of you, and if I am just tell me.

We come and go in this life and we are all nobody’s but newbie‘s at something all though life, the only one better than us is our maker. Well enough of my few thoughts, got to go for now and I wish all you great marketers the best of success !

Regards to all,

Guru Spammers...priceless! xD Little word of advise about the un-subscribing, it usually doesn't work as un-subscribe...that's when our mail accounts get sold or given away so we can get even more spam. That is why i hate mailing lists and don't use them. One of the basics of properly making money online is our mail accounts, we should have, at least, 3. Personal: related to banking services, not to be given anywhere nor to anyone. Registrations: Well...that. Used to register everywhere (apart from banking, of course.) Junkyard: Is a website you joined "flooding" you, but you still want to use the site? Go to your account on that website and change the e-mail. Let them spam the junkyard, mwahahah. All the best!

Thanks for the good advice, Joe. You have echoed the views of most of us. Guru Spammers (lol) is a good contribution to the jargon. I would like it to shorten it to GUSP!

I see a bit of frustration in here but you are right in principle. Sending few emails a month, 1-2 a week? I guess is just fine. More becomes annoying and usually I get tired and stop them all :) Following is another issues. I try not to follow people who hide behind awatars or do not display pics at all. But I check their offer. it is like on Tweeter, none or one update, too many followers in too short time, no info about or links to their site makes block them or not follow at least. On certain profiles I choose followers by relevance and interest in relation to that profile. So I do not follow all who follows me :) Why should I accept inadequate content on my profile? It is enough if I will place some crap on occasion :)

I understand your point. Social networking sites becomes more of number game than really promoting each others' business interests - here we are the loser and owner of social net working sites are gainer. We get so busy in nmumer game that we lost the motive of joining social networking sites.

Hello, Joe: Great article! To the point, personal and so true. I hear you about the guru spammers. They are "big names" but I wonder if some of them got big simply by jamming people's mail boxes?

Regarding your topic, I don't think I'm too good for other members. In fact, my wife says that I'm not too good for anybody! lol :-)

Hi J Max, thanks for the comment and I agree with you, if they want to be a celebrity they should join a celebrity site and not a social site :)

Hey Joe, I see the type you mentioned who have a huge follow list and only follow a few back, like they were celebrities. Some social networking communities make the follow automatic. and others only require a confirmation. I build my list by checking out what a potential follower is promoting or writing about, which means I don't follow everyone - but I try to keep my list fairly even.

Hi Tim, Thanks for stopping by to read and comment, don't know if its that good but as you can see maybe I was a little frustrated (lol). Since I wrote this article I noticed one of IM Faceplate owners don't follow back his followers. I do appreciate there free service here and I like this site but, as I was thinking about upgrading to pro, I think I'll wait. I just have a hard time giving people money that don't follow back there followers. Myself I don't follow back everyone and this is because I know there spammers. Oh ya Soroya, didn't notice your comment. Thank you! You so kind :) Regards, Joe

Thanks Joe for the kind words. I know you didn't mean me, I should have said I meant that on an individual basis (the ones I have yet to look at). LOL I've never liked spam!
Aug 3rd 2010 at 7:24 PM by iddigger
Hi Soroya, thank you for the comment, and the follow. I didn't write this article about people like you, I wrote it about people that only follow a few when they have many followers. I'm like you, I spend a lot of time creating sites, testing and installing scripts, so me slow like you sometimes but I try to follow back if I think there just not spammers. Have a great day and successful marketing !

Hi Joe, thank you for a well written article. I too have wondered if people might think that of me.

I'm just so busy with my websites that I'm a bit slow to check everyone out who is following me and follow them back. Cheers Soroya
