There are four different breeds of Dwarf Hamsters they each have different requirements and characteristics.
Roborovski Dwarf Hamsters Have a placid nature and rarely fight with each other. They do not like a lot of human interaction and prefer to be left to their own devices. Also called Robo Hamsters, they are extremely fast and agile, making them unsitible for young children. It's difficult to handle them because they often try to jump out of peoples hands and run very fast.
Russian Dwarf Hamsters - Larger than Roborovski Hamsters Russian hamsters come in two main breeds - Winter White and Campbells. They are socialable animals that can live together if they come from the same litter.
Chinese Dwarf Hamster – Technically not a Hamster, but commonly catagorized into the Dwarf Hamster family. They have a long tale and are slightly larger than Russian Hamsters
