Success will not find u overnight & chasing that illusion will get u nowhere. But putting a little time and energy in the right direction will pay off big time in the longer run.

Writing "About Me" Page

Aug 21st 2010 at 3:50 AM

If you have a blog and/or website, you will need a good written “About Me” page. This is a very important page that will help your readers to know you, like you and trust you.
You “About Me” page is not only a page about you as a person but it is a page to tell your reader how your experiences have prepared you to do what you are doing now.

A good written “About Me” page is something beyond a resume or a bio, it is a powerful marketing tool that will help your readers to decide if they should follow your blog and join your team or purchase what you are offering.

Let’s review the key points that you should include in your “About Me” page:

1) Why should I read your blog/website and join your team/buy your services or product?
2) What is your strength in this field?
3) Do you have “real world” experience in what you are offering?
4) Are you any good at what you do?
5) Why should I trust you?
6) How will I be better off if I join your team/use your services or products?
7) How can I reach you?

You’ll want to add a picture of yourself on the page too.

Remember, we are human, human likes to talk to the real human! So you must write from your heart – be human! Write as if you’re talking with a friend about yourself and the benefits of your business.

Remember, the purpose of an “About Me” page is to spark your reader’s interest so they will want to read what you are offering and spend time exploring your blog and website. It’s all about helping your target market get to know you, like you and trust you as a respected person/leader in your field.
