Wouldn't it be great if products were HONESTLY marketed?

Dec 31st 2010 at 4:29 AM

I recently acquired two of the newer Clickbank products. One was so totally not what I thought I was buying I requested a refund. (Clickbank was quick in providing it-good customer service).

Most of these new products promise riches with just a few clicks of your mouse. What they don't tell you is the clicks you make will be on links that require more purchases to get there. I find that deceptive. Maybe it is just me. Yes, I try them out. Some have merit but very few produce the results you are shown on the sales page. I think it is one of the reasons so many people think online businesses are a scam.

Wouldn't it be awesome to have REAL reviews of these somewhere with an every day persons results? Then you could decide, or at least have a more educated decision on whether or not to try them. Most marketers hop on the bandwagon and use the provided hype for the is all about making the bucks, not helping people really get where they want to go.

I, for one, would like to see more HONEST presentations of the products by the product developers. I would also like to see a few of these products with "levels" for purchasers so marketers with experience don't have to view the basics. It would save so much time!

Affiliate marketing is one of the best things to try for newbies, it rests on their own efforts, not the efforts of generating a  downline, can be done for free or close to it, and gives them the opportunity to LEARN some online tactics. But with the hype used today to sell the is no wonder so many quit when those $XXX dollars a day don't show up.

Hi Guruette, great article! Yes it would be great to found products that are honest! Honestly should be the best policy, but you find out when trying to make money,it's ALL about the dollars and not the integrity of the person or product! Good job, God bless

I agree. While we're on the topic, I'd really recommend you add a disclaimer to your reviews, if you're earning anything from sales. It's an FTC law that was enacted just last January of 2010. I like your articles, too.

Affiliate marketing is nice to have as an additional source of online income. What you say about the "noise level" and therefore the ability to get a potential customer's attention is very true. Because it is becoming increasing difficult to get your offer to standout when doing affiliate marketing I have continued to reply on networking as the primary source of generating income ... people prefer to buy from people they know, like and trust. ~L
