When Good Internet Radio Shows go Bad! from www.TheRealWahms.com

Jul 9th 2010 at 8:06 AM

Don't want to say I was "prophetic" but on Tuesday I had made a post titled,

Just keeping it real! We are not sure what will happen on TRW!

and on Wednesday's LIVE show, that's exactly what happened!  I guess I need to be careful what I focus on ;)

On this past Wednesday's show with guest speaker Melanie Milletic, we had some audio technical and some other difficulties that caused the show to NOT happen!

We were so embarrassed and apologize to anyone who took out time to listen the show LIVE!

We were just sick about it and "stewing" around for a while and then we had to realize that there was nothing we could do and just move forward!  We had to "shake the dust off" and move on!  Matt. 10:14

Our show is based on the concept of "keeping it REAL!" And isn't it the truth that in real life and in our businesses, sometimes don't go as planned!

Have you ever been on a 3 way call and your kids come screaming into the room and you don't have the duct tape handy ;)

Or your in front of a Presentation and your entire display falls over or your computer presentation won't work.

Have you ever had anything go wrong in your home business that made you want to crawl under the table?

We all have!  The difference between you and 6 figure income earners in our industry is that they have just had MORE of these embarrassing moments than you have!

It happens!

When things happen like this, you have to look it as an opportunity to grow and learn!

Jodi and I have to finally find humor in things to move past!

What do you do to get through these situations (we'd love to hear your horror stories and how you got past it below...reply below)

Anyway, here's some kind of funny and/or uplifting statements to help you get over those times fast:

  • The solution to most technical problems it to unplug it, then plug it back in.
  • The best thing in life is that God sees all your mistakes and weaknesses, knows your imperfections and still thinks you're completely amazing!
  • Strong people make as many mistakes as weak people. Difference is that strong people admit their mistakes, laugh at them, and learn from them. Richard Needham
  • If we learn from our mistakes; I must be one of the brightest people on Earth.
  • Everyone makes mistakes - the only people who never fail are those who never even try.
  • The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one.  ~Elbert Hubbard
  • It was when I found out I could make mistakes that I knew I was on to something.  ~Ornette Coleman
  • I never make stupid mistakes.  Only very, very clever ones.  ~John Peel
  • Never say, "oops."  Always say, "Ah, interesting."  ~Author Unknown
  • If you don't make mistakes, you're not working on hard enough problems.  And that's a big mistake.  ~F. Wikzek
  • While one person hesitates because he feels inferior, the other is busy making mistakes and becoming superior.  ~Henry C. Link
  • The man who makes no mistakes does not usually make anything.  ~Edward Phelps
  • Making mistakes simply means you are learning faster.  ~Weston H. Agor
  • You will do foolish things, but do them with enthusiasm.  ~Colette
  • As long as the world is turning and spinning, we're gonna be dizzy and we're gonna make mistakes.  ~Mel Brooks
  • Things could be worse.  Suppose your errors were counted and published every day, like those of a baseball player.  ~Author Unknown
  • Mistakes are the usual bridge between inexperience and wisdom.  ~Phyllis Theroux

Ahhh.....we feel better, do you?

Thanks for your patience and we have rescheduled our show with Melanie on Wednesday, August 4th.  She has  a wealth of information to share about internet marketing and how to do it right with honesty and building lists that will reap you a harvest this fall!

Watch for our special announcement on Tuesday for this upcoming week's guest!  www.TheRealWahms.com
