Webmiep is pissed off

I am a member of several email lists for which i agreed to receive emails. I use gmail so I see the subject lines. I get a lot that read: you have a new referral, you have received  a payment, please confirm your subscription (for sites I never joined), re:something and simular.

Than when I open it usually says "I get emails like this every day. You should join this or that...

It really pisses me off. personaly, if the senders is known I imidiatly create a filter, when the sender is recognazible to send  mails from this person to spam. because I will never trust this person. The abuse of mailings in this way is very bad for online business in general. And that is a shame. Because there are mailings with good content too.

Some credit mailers have rules that certain email subjects are forbidden and you can sent a complaint about it. But who does that? I do'nt. Not yet, because I am to buzy.

But maybe I will report those email in the near future. maybe we all should do this because emails like this reflect negatif on emails from lists in general. A lot of email list are blacklisted from certain email lists, regardless the email subject.
