Weaving a Spider Web with Social Media Wool

Sep 26th 2010 at 12:35 AM

Our clients get really curious as to how we help them to become more visible on the internet. The best way to explain what we do is to use the analogy of weaving a spider web. Our client’s website becomes the centre of a highly complex and intricate web of connections. We create social network profiles for our clients, and then connect those social network profiles together so that these connections all begin to point to their company website.

Social media optimization and marketing is usually community-specific. We look at the client’s mission statement, niche market and goals that they wish to achieve and match them up with communities that are seeking their service. Social media offers new ways for you to connect with consumers, but how can you achieve quantifiable business results? Becoming visible on the web is very easy and we have the latest tools and technology to enable us to achieve outrageous results. But receiving a lot of targeted visitors to your website is only the first step, the next step is to build relationships with your visitors.  We get really excited when companies  learn how to use the latest technologies and techniques to maximise their returns from social media and minimise the risks to their brand and reputation.

We at Website Visibility Consultants would like to share a tool or piece of information with you each week that will help you to become more visible on the internet. Why are we offering this for free? We believe that the more we share this type of information with you, the more leading edge tools and technologies will come our way and enable us to constantly offer better and better service for our clients.  The more you give the more you shall receive. Karma exists also on the internet!

So for this week we will write about this fantastic Social Media tool called: OnlyWire

A lot of our clients are quite aware that there are countless social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Bebo, etc. But how to manage updating to all of them and what on earth to update. We thought that the easiest thing to have would be an application on their WordPress Blog that would update their posts to all the different social networks that they belong to at one at a click of a button. OnlyWire does exactly that and you do not need to have a WordPress blog to that. Do not worry we are aware of Posterous which is slightly similar ( ) OnlyWire is ten times better because it has been mainly designed with social media marketing in mind. So this week we will cover points that we like about OnlyWire and share with you our experience. Do not worry we are not affiliates of OnlyWire, so we do not make a dime from sharing this info, but we would love to hear from anyone who has experience of using OnlyWire or at least has come across it
