Be careful of companies that expect you to buy product in advance or meet a quota. Quotas often lead to reps having to purchase their own product. Having said that; customers expect that you use the products you are selling. Stay in touch with you team, email or text blasts are great ways to communicate and a personal phone call is sometimes a welcomed change in this day and age. Be friendly and let them know you are easy to talk to and a can be a bank of knowledge for them. Give them any important up dates about the company or new products and any new bonuses that may be available. Maybe share a funny story about a meeting with a prospect or customer or a successful deal closed. Inform of the “exciting new” team member who just joined. Part of the excitement is working for yourself and people don’t want to feel like you are checking up on them are trying to be “the Boss”. Your job is to encourage them and help them stay informed.
Not everyone you sponsor will produce or be successful but give them every chance you can to help them succeed. Remember, no one is alone. If it is possible, meet in person or have trainings for members who live close together. On-line trainings and webinars are often available through you company and you should encourage you team members to watch. A quick email or text blast is a great reminder. Phone-in meetings can be fun, and all team members can interact no matter where they are.
Be sincere, watch and learn what the successful people have done, be responsible and always show your enthusiasm. If you care at all, you’ll get some results. If you care enough, you'll get incredible results.
