In 1933 Clarence Darrow copyrighted a version of " The Landlord Game. " He called it "Monopoly" . He went into the game company , Parker Brothers , for the help of the production of the game.
They refused because they said it would never sell . He began selling Monopoly for Christmas 1934. He was overwhelmed with the job. Parker Brothers football games agreed to produce the game next year. Monopoly is now printed in 15 languages and sold worldwide.
